The first message came to Donghyuck while he was just going to shower, so I didn't pay that much attention to it. He had a long video chat with his mom before the bath, so I assumed she just missed to tell him something. Hyuck hadn't been at home for a long time, as we had been living together almost two weeks now, so they could have a lot to say to each other.

I started slowly picking boy's clothes off the floor and folding them into cubes. I felt that soon there would be a moment when he would be forced to go back home because we would start arguing about neatness. Donghyuck says he cleans but I've already noticed that our definitions of clean housing vary considerably. When I finished putting dirty clothes in the laundry basket, a second message came, followed immediately by a third one. I looked for a moment at brunet's phone display turned on, until it went off again.

I sighed heavily and lay down on my half of the bed. I noticed that even when I have the whole mattress to myself, I take the left side and don't really move from it. For this reason, from time to time thoughts came back to me to arrange a small, romantic evening and to offer boy to share this apartment together, for good. His things were everywhere anyway, even if he hadn't stayed here for the night. On the other hand, I was afraid that in the long run there could be more differences between us - much more serious than the approach to cleaning. It was holding me back in its own way.

When Donghyuck's phone rang for the fourth time, I couldn't stand it and leaned over to his bedside table to see who messaged at night and was raising my blood pressure. However, when I tried to unlock the phone, it turned out that Donghyuck has password. It wasn't surprising, I have it too but at this point I was annoyed by no access to information on who was writing with my boyfriend. Brunet always washed for a long time, so I decided that I would take the risk and try to guess this blockage. I only knew that it's six digits long. I tried various things - his birthday, Mrs. Lee's birthday, basement code, date of our unfortunate meeting on the beach, which made me realize that our second anniversary was approaching, and a few other digital combinations, until I was informed of a password lock on 3 min. I sighed heavily and sank down onto the mattress. I stared at the ceiling for a moment, wondering what other numbers might mean something more to Donghyuck. I winced at the thought of Seth. It would be an exaggeration but likely one if brunet was attached to his old code.

Hopefully not to the old boyfriend.

I decided to take a risk. I went to the cluttered room next to the bathroom to get Hyuck's briefcase that Marco had given me crazy time ago. I wanted to check Seth's personal details. However, both the date of his birth and the beginning of relationship with Hyuck were not correct. There was one trial left for me, which I decided to put on the date of the boy's father's death. Donghyuck once said that he used to even celebrate it with friends. At that moment, nothing more important to him could come to my mind.

"Fuck," I cursed under breath as the display showed a blockage for the next quarter.

I rubbed eyes with hand as I walked back to the bedroom. Water was still running in the shower, so I politely put Donghyuck's phone back in place and lay down on the bed in an unpleasant state of waiting. I didn't want to appear to be the privacy-invading jealous type of lover -  that I actually was, without a doubt. Universe was never on my side, however, and after only a few minutes, Donghyuck left bathroom, humming cheerfully under breath. He hopped happily on mattress, giving me a kiss, then gracefully rolled over to his half and, unfortunately, to his phone.

"Listen..." I started quickly to warn him before it gets worse but boy was already looking at screen, staring silently at the meter that showed how many minutes remained until another unlocking attempt will be possible. "It just kept buzzing and..." I decided to defend myself, although the evidence spoke for itself and Donghyuck wasn't going to spare me.
