Isekai Mizuki S1 - A World With Demons

Chapter 0 - Prologue

In a kindergarten school during recess, a young, crimson-haired boy was being picked on by a group of others. His younger sister was worried. He tugged on the shirt of a nearby boy, who looked at her and raised one eyebrow, signaling her to speak.

The girl's name was Nezuko, and she babbled on as she was only two at the time, attempting to say: "Help my brother, please!" It didn't take long for the young boy to understand, then put his hand on one of the boys' shoulders.

The kid who was being stopped bleated: "What do you want, stupid?" then the other one chimed in, adding: "Yeah, we don't have time for losers like you!"

Even then, the young boy refused to move. The three kids got angry and attempted to strike the intercepting boy. The defender put his hand forward, creating a random energy barrier. The attackers' hands were stuck, and the defender wrapped the three in chains, fully subduing them.

The young defender went up to the victim, and offered his hand. The defender asked: "What's your name?" and the victim replied: "Ta-Tanjiro Kamado... W-what's yours?" the savior answered: "Isekai Mizuki", he said as he pulled Tanjiro up. His sister babbled on as she ran towards her elder brother.

The teacher saw this and went over to Isekai. She asked: "Is this your Blood Magic? It shouldn't be manifesting at your age!" By then, his parents, or... rather... adoptive... parents... came over to answer her question.

"Hello, ma'am. I'm his adoptive father, and we're not sure about that." His wife chimed in, saying: "Yes, he was born with that. So far he hasn't learned to fully control it."

Tanjiro, in complete shock, pondered about his powers. "He... he has powers?! I... I want to know more!"

Tanjiro walked over to his defender, then kindly asked what he could do with his powers. To which he kindly answered: "I can do this..." he says as he creates black lightning. He then added a catch: "...but sometimes that makes explosions, so I don't really do that a lot. I can also do this..." he continues as he creates a wall made of light. "There's a lot more where that came from, but I don't wanna spoil everything in one day to a person I've only just met. Do you... perhaps... want to be friends?"

Tanjiro nodded, excited that he'd have a powerful, yet considerate friend. They spent most of their breaktime together, and they'd usually choose to pair up with each other during partner-involved activities.

After their kindergarten years, they separated to two different schools. Before they parted ways, Isekai asked: "We'll meet again someday, right?" to which Tanjiro gleefully responded: "Yeah!"
