Chapter 67 - Research Results

Isekai returned to the lab around Sunday 10:00 AM. After telling the guard the code for today (that being Coconut), he punched the code in the keypad, and escorted him down to the lab. He then knocked on the door, behind it being where Tamayo and some others work. A man answered, and told Tamayo that Isekai arrived.

Tamayo was excited to test out the drug. "We were able to finish the suppressors, and records of testing and testing proved over and over that the drug was stable. Shinazugawa caught me a low-ranking demon, which Muzan was likely unaware of, in terms of watching. We're going to be testing it right now." Isekai nodded and followed her.

Unnamed Laboratory, Testing Room, 10:02 AM

Behind a large window was a demon, cuffed up and unconscious. A man in a hazmat suit took the drug, entered the room with caution, and injected the substance into the demon. It took in all of the fluid, and the man ran out, ready for the results. They turned off the consciousness control, allowing the demon to wake up once more.

Tamayo then began to use her Blood Magic, called Blood Bewitchment. "Blood Magic: Blood Bewitchment - Magical Aroma of Daylight!" she chanted, releasing an intoxicating aroma. The demon inhaled it in, unaware of what it did. She then asked: "What is your master's name?"

The demon laughed a little, mocking them for asking that question. "You are insane if you think I'm answering! I'm not giving up any info about Master Kibutsuji!" he replied, realizing what he said. However, nothing happened. The curse didn't trigger. "Huh? Why isn't it- No... You wanted this to happen!" he yelled.

Isekai grinned. Tamayo then spoke up. "Precisely. Either way, whether or not it worked, would benefit us. If it didn't succeed, a demon would be dead. If it worked, that means our research is complete. We have created a suppressor for the Blood Curse!" she announced. The entire basement laboratory's worth of people cheered in victory.

Isekai left the room, and messaged Kagaya, telling him to tell the Hashira that the suppressor has finished production, has also finished testing, and has succeeded. Upon putting his phone back in his pocket, he grinned once more.

"Phase 1 of the plan has been finished. The second part of the plan is going to burn everything to hell."

"Time to set off war between demons and humans."

Anyway, this is our 100th part of the story, and there's more to come in Part 2 of this story. There WILL be a season 2, although that features a game from 2017, instead of an anime.

Sorry that this chapter is so short, school has been throwing wrenches into my time left and right, and I can't stop it. But, I'll try to release as many as possible.
