Tanjiro took the initiative, immediately activating Constant Flux, trying to gain power with each attack he uses. He would've been really slow right now, had it not been for Rocket Jump boosting his mobility. He also tried to utilize Shockwire, but the wire couldn't make 2 feet forward without sinking. The giant Gyokko had great mobility contradictory to his size. All the swimmer could do was inflict minor wounds as the attack still had to build up force.

Gyokko mocked his choices of sinking to join him underwater, constantly calling it stupid, rash or cocky. Tanjiro paid his word no heed, as his attack began to get stronger and stronger. Eventually, his attack gained enough force to actually inflict concerning hits. Gyokko was starting to get a little angry about his adversary's mobility, even in the water. He started to use his magics more frequently. "School of a Thousand Piranhas!" he yelled as he opened his lip-eyes, releasing 500 from each. Tanjiro cut them all down successfully, and it let out poisonous liquids that can easily sink into the skin. None of it got to Tanjiro, thanks to the shell that his magic granted him.

Outside...

Masachika was trying to dial someone who could help. His first thought was to check with Kaigaku, but he didn't answer. Inosuke followed up, but neither did he. He tried to call the other thirteen, the most recent being Kanao (they weren't aware that she was transformed yet), but they never answered, either.

Genya yelled at him to hurry up, but Masachika replied, "None of them are picking up! I even called Kaigaku, who I heard binge watches all night half the time!" as Genya sighed, and asked if he knows anyone from the Corporation who he hasn't called yet. He thought about it, then it pinged him to ask Isekai. He dialed his number.

Friday, February 17, 2030, Tako Residence, 12:44 AM

A phone was beeping, and an arm reached for it. On the bed was a drowsy Isekai, who had just gotten up to answer the call. Slurring a little, he picked up and greeted the caller. "You have reached the Tako Residence. Isekai Mizuki speaking," he said. Masachika recognized his voice, and requested for backup. "Help us, dude! We're fighting a demon, and Tanjiro's taking worryingly long to finish!"

Isekai realized what he meant. He threw himself off the bed, equipped his hoodie and the Corporation uniform, and muttered, "Damn it, Tanjiro! You could have just moved on until we could find a way to get her back, but no! You just HAD to go fight Upper Moon Five?!" as he got out of the house, locked all entrances, started the ignition on his motorbike, and left off to the scene.

Grand King's Pub, 1:10 AM

Isekai turned off the ignition, stopped his bike, and met Masachika and Genya. He asked, "What's happening here, and why are you two idling?!" questioning their placing. A demon came rushing out of a bush, and Genya cut him down. Masachika then explained about the high activity happening here, and that demons were being drawn in. "You have to go help Tanjiro! He's probably drowning in there for all we know!" he said. Isekai nodded, left the two to defend the vortex, that which Isekai entered.

Gyokko's Marine Dimension, ??:?? AM/PM

Isekai had just entered, and he was greeted by broken pieces of ancient civilizations, floating pottery, and fragmented shipwrecks. He then began to look around, trying to locate Tanjiro and Gyokko. He equipped the Yaksha mask he found in Upper Moon 6's domain, originally with the intention of being able to see more clearly underwater, and the remnants and traces of the wind energy from the puppet's core were left on the mask, somehow allowing Isekai to breathe.

His first thought upon entering was: "When I find him, he'll never hear the end of this."

And soon enough, after 3 or 4 minutes of searching, he found them. Tanjiro was holding out surprisingly well, and Gyokko actually started to try, represented by him using his Blood Magic. When he tried to find out how to intervene without getting Tanjiro hurt, Gyokko swung at Tanjiro who had left himself completely open. He instinctively intervened, catching his arm with chains, reeling himself towards them, and cutting off his wrist.

Tanjiro realized he could see him, and questioned why he was here. Isekai yelled out: "You idiot! I'm here because Genya and Masachika called me on phone, and I'm here to save you. Anyway, your stamina won't hold out forever, and this mask is probably about to run out of wind power from that weird puppet. Let's kill this thing already."

In an instant, the battle began, and the two were swimming around the water, trying to find a way to be able to attack. The duel became significantly harder for Gyokko, the cause being that he has to divide concentration between the both of them, and one hit harder than the other in their own way. "So... damn... persistent!" he grunted whilst sustaining and attempting to deal hits.

It had been a little longer, and they found an opening on his neck. But, just as they were ready to make the cut, Gyokko roared out loudly, causing shockwaves to happen, constantly knocking away both of them. Eventually, the water began to force them towards the vortex they entered through. When they splashed out of the dimension, the vortex closed up.

"Damn it... I failed to kill him," Tanjiro muttered. Isekai punched his arm, and chewed him out for making such a rash decision. While the lecture was still going on, the ground was rumbling. "Uh... guys?" Masachika called. Isekai looked at him, eyebrow raised, as Genya pointed to the floor. Eventually, it all broke down, re-opening the vortex they entered the marine dimension through, only bigger. The four of them left the pub, followed up by Gyokko leaping out of the portal, and charging towards Isekai. Fortunately, he reacted quickly enough, and deployed a Light Wall to block the punch. However, the forcefield turned to flopping fish.

Tanjiro was freaked out. He looked at his adversary, shuddering in fear. Gyokko chuckled a little, his full body being seen in a normal size. "Ah... I should have told you earlier. Whatever I punch, turns into fish. I can generally end a battle with this sort of skill, but I would much rather tear you all open and devour you!" he said.

The four of them took battle stances, ready for combat. "Oh? You're going to challenge me? Come, then. Take honor in the fact that it took a man so beautiful and strong as me to bring you down."

Genya vomited a little, and insulted him. "Pretty? You look uglier than that one painting of a man who has a face so deformed that at least 1000 people would rather hear another Raid: Shadow Legends sponsorship than look at this." Gyokko got pretty unhinged, and yelled: "Silence, brat! I am above the pinnacle of picturesque. You just can't see it, seeing as this was the greatest art of at least 300 years ago, and that most children these days are uneducated bumpkins."

Isekai was getting impatient, and yelled: "Are we fighting now, or just having a roast-off? Because I'd love to just have grilled demon fish, hold the demon, and burn it in the sun!"

Gyokko then just agreed, and the battle began.
