Chapter 91.5 - Isekai's Timely Arrival

Isekai had just arrived, and he shot his gun. Kanao's sword was knocked out of her hands, and the demon looked behind her to find Isekai aiming the gun at her. Before she could do anything, Isekai shot her legs three times.

She fell to the ground. Although the wounds on her legs regenerated, she couldn't get up. "W-WHAT'S GOING ON...?!" the demon questioned. She could tell that something odd was circulating in her body.

"Wait, are these bullets drugged...?!" she realizes. "Damn right, Kanao. We're ending this, now!" he said, pulling out a serum containing a yellow liquid in it, which was the suppressor for Muzan's Blood Curse. He rushes to Kanao. Unfortunately, the demon could still move its arms. But before it could do ANYTHING to harm Isekai, Tanjiro caught the demon's arms in his Shockwire.

Isekai then hit Kanao with the suppressor. Then, to make sure Kanao couldn't do anything to hurt Tanjiro, Isekai also shot both of Kanao's arms and her head with drugged bullets. "TANJIRO! CARRY HER! YOU HAVE TWO ARMS, ONE OF MINE GOT RIPPED OFF! MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!" he commands, prompting Tanjiro to stand up and grab Kanao.

Isekai and Tanjiro made it to the backline where the objective was supposed to be placed. The former then drew out a walkie-talkie, and called the mission. "Mission complete. The target has been secured. I repeat, the target has been secured! Return to base immediately!" Isekai commanded. He noticed that Sinistrius won against Kiriya and destroyed his robot. But, before he could devour him, Isekai stabbed Sinistrius in the eye with Blades of Torment, and stole Kiriya from his grasp.

On command, every last remaining member of the Demon Retribution Front left the battlefield. The demons couldn't keep up with them, due to the siege engine lineups deploying one last assault that hindered their movement.

It didn't take long for the humans to escape, and all the demons were gathered. They stood there, confused. "Did... did we win?" Akaza questions. "...no. They got Kanao, and they even stopped me from killing her," Muzan replies. "Wait, you don't mean..." Doma says.

"Their objective wasn't to win. They wanted to steal Kanao back. They planned for *everything.* Fucking smart-asses. Everyone retreat, head back to whatever the fuck you were all doing..." Muzan commanded.

June 31st, Main MizuTech Vessel, 6:03 AM

Kanao was unconscious, strapped to a bed, where they made sure she would remain unconscious no matter what. Everyone else was recovering from the war, but Isekai was in the infirmary, where they tried to treat his wounds.

When Isekai stepped out of the infirmary, he headed straight for the lab. He met Tamayo and the other scientists again. "Were you able to extract Kanao's Upper Moon blood?" Isekai asks. Tamayo smiles and nods.

"We're already beginning to formulate the cure. It'll take only about a half-hour, due to it not being oxygenated. Apparently, as a result of Kanao's breakout, there's human blood fused into this too, which makes the cure's stability rate much higher than that of if we had pure Upper Moon blood instead!"

"Good. Call me when you're done," Isekai commands. Tamayo nods, and Isekai leaves the room.
