Chapter 30 - Muichiro & Yuichiro VS Mitsuri (Part 2)

"I hope you're ready to face me, because I'm not holding back anymore!" she howled, as she revealed her new transformation. Her appearance was greatly altered, and her power increased.

Heartbroken (Greatly alters the user's appearance, and tremendously powers up the user. Breathing forms become slightly weaker, but their range highly increases and ranged attacks have a larger size.)

"So, don't you dare disappoint me," she demanded, twirling her sword. "How the hell are we gonna defeat her?!" he questions, looking at his younger twin, who is currently charging at him. "...Muichiro?"

Muichiro hoists his brother into the air, and tosses him out of the castle. "ARE YOU NUTS?!" he questions angrily, wondering what purpose he had in mind. "We're in an artificial kingdom slash castle, right?! Find a rope at one of those execution areas! I have a plan! I'll hold her off for now!" he requested. Yuichiro landed safely, and ran off to find a noose or a rope, whatever would come to him first.

"Does Muichiro have a plan?" Isekai questions, folding his arms. Sanemi coughs and answers his question. "Clearly. Every time the enemy had him down, no matter what, he'd find a way to get out of the situation, whether victory or draw."

"Come on, there's gotta be a noose or rope somewhere! Not sure what Muichiro needs it for, but it's clear that he has a plan..." Yuichiro muttered, hopping house through house. Yuichiro ran through a market, searching for more. He thought a chain would do just as well, but somehow he couldn't even pull it out. He ran elsewhere to find it.

"Come on, you might as well call your brother back down here! It's clear that you're losing," Mitsuri suggested. Muichiro knocked her away, and shook his head. "My purpose with this strategy isn't to beat you, at least, not currently," he answers, leaping backward. "Stalling me until time out, eh?! Well, I'm not letting THAT happen. I'm gonna have to knock you out and find your brother before that happens," she replies, starting to try harder.

Muichiro had been on the defensive as Mitsuri kept attacking him, trying to break open his guard. Three minutes had passed, and Yuichiro still hasn't found a rope.

"Brother's probably running out of stamina at this point, and there's more than five minutes... Where's a magician when you need them?!"  he assumed, trying even harder to search. He eventually went to the side of the castle to find a horse carrying a lift platform, and then a rope attached to something.

"Finally, a rope! Now, I just have to get it and get back to Muichiro..." he said to himself as he detached the rope and rolled it up.

Muichiro began to memorize Mitsuri's attack patterns, and began slowly advancing onto the offensive end of the fight. "He's blocking more of my hits... Is he beginning to adapt?!"  It had not been a minute before Muichiro completely broke her guard, and heavily struck her chest with a fell swoop.

Mitsuri coughed up a small puddle of blood, before getting back up and quickly acquiring the upper hand in a fight. She constantly used her breathing techniques, although most of them were weakened, due to a massive disruption in her breathing caused by Muichiro's extremely powerful singular strike.

It hadn't been long before Muichiro was knocked down. As Mitsuri was ready to deliver the final blow, a barrage of misty punches came crashing down, and the nurse jumped backward. "Sorry to keep you waiting, brother. I got a noose, and this one's really, really long," Yuichiro apologized, showing Muichiro the rope he got. Muichiro stood up and fixed his breath, then took a battle-ready stance.

"Good. Wait until my signal, then throw the further end towards Ms. Kanroji, then toss the end you're gripping it with towards me. This battle will be ended quickly," Muichiro proposed, ready to go through with the plan. He charged forward at her.

Mitsuri used her ranged attacks in an attempt to subdue Muichiro to prevent him from fully executing his plan. He came through, and used Sharp, Layered Mist once more. Mitsuri evaded the attack by jumping backward, playing into his hands.

"ROPE! NOW!" Muichiro called, prompting Yuichiro to throw the end of the rope towards the side of Mitsuri opposite to where he aimed, then twirled it, tying her up. He then tossed the end of the rope he was gripping towards Muichiro.

"What the- HEY, LET ME GO!" Mitsuri demanded, trying to wiggle and squirm free of her bindings. "I've always been interested in how Isekai handles using his chains. He taught me eventually, and now's the time to use what I've learned! A new move for Mist Magic, I call it Shrouded Bind!"

Shrouded Bind (The user coats their binding tool in mist, hiding its presence as it is used in subduing the user.)

Muichiro gripped the part of the rope thrown towards him, and reeled the other end back, sending Mitsuri rapidly spinning. "WAAAAH!" she yelped as she rapidly spun in circles.

The rope was thrown at her once more, and Muichiro tied his torso with the noose. Mitsuri's arm forced the noose into a spinning motion, binding her arms to her body. He then pulled himself towards Mitsuri, then tackled her down to the ground. He had her fully subdued. "This battle's over, Ms. Kanroji," he stated, catching his breath.

She tried to make a last-ditch effort to get herself out, but Yuichiro held the blade at her. "We've got you." Mitsuri struggled for a brief moment, then smiled in defeat. "Just like always, Muichiro, you have a plan to get out. Heehee~ I admit defeat," she comments, conceding.

"And that's it, ladies and gentlemen! In a swift moment, Muichiro and Yuichiro fully subdue Ms. Kanroji, earning Team G a success in passing the test!" he announces, clapping his hands. The students and teachers watching gave a round of applause.

Muichiro sliced up the noose, freeing Mitsuri of her bindings as she pouted. "Hmph!"

After returning...

"The next match will be between Team E against their homeroom teacher, a young lady and her friend VS her sister, it's Kanao and Masachika VS Ms. Kocho! The match will begin shortly," Tengen announces, pressing a button.
