Chapter 130 - Life Shining Across The Years

127 years later, on Tuesday, October 21st, 2158

It has been about half a century, more or less, ever since the end of everyone's lives. We enter a new version of the world, where technology is more advanced than what we know. The families we've seen have gone on to make their own families, eventually creating the descendants of the people we know.

Kamado Residence, 7:15 AM

"Wake up, Sumihiko. I've already said this twenty-eight times now," a boy says, trying to shake his brother awake. "Stop it, Kanata, I'm awaaaaake..." Sumihiko replies, still asleep. "At least try to open your eyes while you're lying..." the other boy, named Kanata, mutters, throwing his bag over his shoulder. "Whatever. I'm leaving. Good luck on getting that Perfect Attendance award if you're going to keep doing this," Kanata told him, walking out of the bedroom.

Sumihiko Kamado (A descendant of Tanjiro & Kanao. He is currently 15 and is enrolled in Kimetsu Academy. He seems to love sleeping, given that he still continues to sleep, even after his older brother Kanata had told him to wake up twenty-eight times. He is friends with a certain botanist who is a member of the Hashibira family.)

Kanata Kamado (A descendant of Tanjiro & Kanao. He is the elder brother of Sumihiko, being 16 years old. Like his brother, he is also enrolled in Kimetsu Academy. He is very good-looking, having resembled the traits of one of Kimetsu Academy's former beauties, Kanao Tsuyuri. He has the nickname "First Love Thief." Despite his natural tendency to attract girls unconsciously, he has no girlfriend.)

Agatsuma Residence, 7:15 AM

"AMAZING!" a person screams out. "EVERYONE PUT THEIR POWERS TOGETHER AND TOOK DOWN THE CRIMINAL BOSS! THEY ACTUALLY WON!" a person who looked like Zenitsu screamed out, crying in tears. Suddenly, someone kicks him in the back. "OWW!" he yelps, looking behind him. "TOKO! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" he questions, rubbing his back.

"ARE YOU READING THAT DUMB BOOK OF GREAT-GRANDFATHER'S LIES AGAIN?!" the girl named Toko questions, clearly angry. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU, YOSHITERU! EXAMS ARE COMING UP, AND YOU FAILED LAST TIME! YOUR GRADES WERE ABYSMAL!" she continued, berating her brother for his failures on his last exams.

"I'M TELLING YOU THAT EVERYONE WAS INCREDIBLE! THEY FOUGHT WITH THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE- GUUAAAAH! MY EAR!" Yoshiteru replied, screaming in pain as his ear was pinched by his elder sister. "THEN STUDY, SO YOU CAN BE GREAT LIKE THEM AS WELL IF YOU BELIEVE IN IT SO DAMN MUCH!" she replied, pulling her brother's ear as she intensely pressed it.

Yoshiteru Agatsuma (A descendant of Zenitsu and Nezuko. Most of, if not all of the sons that have gone down his family act a lot like his great-grandfather Zenitsu. He believes in reincarnation and has been reading books on how to curse people by just looking at them. He only ever got into high school because his older sister Toko made sure he studied. Yoshiteru is currently 17 years old right now.)

Toko Agatsuma (A descendant of Zenitsu and Nezuko. Towards her brother, Toko shows great aggravation and animosity, often berating him for his antics and telling him off for not studying. At times, she resorts to physically attacking Yoshiteru, such as kicking his back or tugging on his ear. She's the reason Yoshiteru got into high school at all. She and Yoshiteru have two younger sisters. Like her ancestor Nezuko, she is the neighborhood beauty. Currently, her age is 18.)

In a few minutes...

"All of the women in our house are so well-behaved. Why was MY sister the different one?!" Yoshiteru questioned as Toko muttered, "Unbelievable..." Suddenly, Yoshiteru asks her a question. "Oi, nee-san, do you believe in reincarnation?" he asks. Toko questions him as to why he brought this up.
