Chapter 112.5 - Lunch Break

Tengen made an announcement. "Alright, everyone! It is 12:00 PM right now. We will continue the tournament activities later. Our contenders will have a lunch break. The games will resume at 1:30 PM. If you're feeling peckish as well, we're serving food in the restaurants near the ticket reception. Catch you later!" he said, turning off the mic.

Friday, October 19th, 2030, Kimetsu Academy Cafeteria, 12:10 PM

All of the second-year students were in the cafeteria, getting their food to fuel themselves up for the third activity. "You did really well in the second activity, Sabito! You wiped out one of the quadruplets by yourself!" Makomo commented, happy for Sabito. "While this is clearly an improvement, I've got a long way to go before I can take all four of them alone," he replied, scratching his head as he blushed a little.

"Did anyone keep score of how many people all the players took down?" Murata asked, curious. He'd forgotten most of who beat who. Aoi pulled up a list. "I did!" she called. Murata, and everyone who participated in the game plus Yuichiro went over to her and looked at her phone.

"Isekai put down Muichiro, Makoto, and Rumiko, totaling to three heads.
Muichiro eliminated Matsuoka and Satoru, which gives him two kills.
Genya only took down Nezuko, giving him one point.
Rumiko brought Genya to his doom, also giving her one point.
Sabito only took down Sadako, making him the third person to have only one point.
Kanao got only one elimination, that being Isekai.
Tanjiro took down Hakuji and Kaigaku, two points.
Then comes Kaigaku, who eliminated Kanao immediately after she took down his ally.
Finally, Hakuji, who only eliminated Sabito, rewarding him one point.

Additionally, the people who got no eliminations are Yumeko, Sadako, Makoto, Nezuko, Matsuoka, Makomo and Satoru.

So, yeah, that's pretty much it. Sabito also had a hand in Kaigaku's elimination, having deactivated his attack, but that doesn't count," Aoi explained, displaying the scores she kept on her phone.

Everyone kept eating and talking. Tanjiro and Aoi were letting Kanao in on what had happened in Kimetsu Academy the entire time she was a demon. "Isekai started up the Coco Puffs nickname gag again. Murata brought coffee and had puffy hair. The joke worked for a week before it got old," Tanjiro said. Kanao giggled at this.

"Wait until I tell you about the time Tanjiro attacked Isekai after he said he was going to kill you," Aoi chimed in, smiling. "Yeah, I lost my cool really badly there. I'm actually thankful he's better than me at fighting or he'd have been in the nurse's office instead of me," Tanjiro admitted, sighing in shame.

"Come on, darling, don't worry about it! I probably would have reacted the same way, uhuhu~!" Kanao replied as she hugged Tanjiro's arm, reassuring her boyfriend that he didn't have to keep shaming himself because of it. Isekai walked up to Aoi and tapped her shoulder. "A-yes~?" she responded, gulping the soup in her udon bowl.

"Let's get seconds, I got somethin' to tell ya," Isekai suggested. Aoi nodded, and they both went to buy more food. "So, I remembered that Sabito told me about the powers of the Seikatsu quadruplets last year. I planned on telling you this in the afternoon, but I forgot. Anyway, Sabito likes Makomo. He blurted it out while answering a question I asked," Isekai explained, completing his transaction.

"Uwah! Really?! We finally have someone else other than Kanao and Tanjiro plus Ozaki and Murata now!" Aoi exclaimed, happy that there's new tea to go along with. "We can tell everyone else another time. I'll fuel myself up then work out in the gymnasium a little," Isekai said, walking back to the table.
