Chapter 39 - Christmas

December 16, 2029, 6:00 PM

The students were given a Christmas vacation break around December 14th, and the entire class was at Isekai's house. They all went around exploring, looking at the rooms, one of which greets them with a freezing blast of air. Nezuko shivered, asking: "Onii-chan, I know you and Takeo have been here before but is it always this cold?!" Tanjiro just shrugged, replying: "Well, what do you expect? Nearly no one likes hot areas."

Later, all were downstairs, just relaxing and watching Netflix, when suddenly, Ozaki and Nezuko suggested something. "How about we stay at Isekai's house until the year's end?" Everyone loudly agreed and picked their rooms. There were about four bedrooms, so up to five people slept in each one.

Bedroom 1 - Ozaki, Murata, Yushiro, Muichiro and Yuichiro

Bedroom 2 - Genya, Masachika, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kaigaku

Bedroom 3 - Sabito, Makomo, Yahaba and Susamaru

Isekai's Bedroom - Isekai, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Kanao and Aoi

When they marked their rooms, Isekai heard a doorbell ringing. He opened it to find a man from Domino's delivering five boxes of pizza.

Isekai paid the man and called the rest down. "Pizza's here!" he yelled as the rest of the students came crashing down and picked their seats at the tables. Isekai put down the pizza and sat down as well, with Tanjiro returning with six large bottles of soda from the fridge. Everyone got to eat and drink, and share laughs and stories with each other.

Ozaki was pinged with an idea, and informed Nezuko. And soon enough... "Hey, everyone!" she called out to her classmates as they all turned to face her. Nezuko continued her words, announcing: "So, we thought about what we'd do with your Christmas wishes for a while, and... we'd want to have a nice Secret Santa event!"

Ozaki pulled out a santa hat from her bag and dumped nineteen small pieces of paper into the hat, then began shaking it, as she told them: "Alright then, get your target!"

Tanjiro went first. He pulled out a piece of paper.

栗花落 カナヲ (Tsuyuri Kanao) "Nag Champa Incense"

Tanjiro blushed a little as he put the slip in his pocket.

Kanao went next and pulled out her target.

我妻 善逸 (Agatsuma Zenitsu) "Kitten"

"...interesting choice..." she muttered, putting the paper in her skirt pocket.

Isekai went next and pulled out his target.

竈門 炭治郎 (Kamado Tanjiro) "Latest MizuTech music player"

"Man's lucky I got him." *slips the paper into his pocket*

Aoi walked to the front and took a slip of paper.

嘴平 伊之助 (Hashibira Inosuke) "Limited edition 'One with the Wild' T-shirt"

Aoi fidgets with her hands a little as she puts away her paper.

Zenitsu came after Aoi, and he pulled out his target.

"Please let it be Nezuko, please let it be Nezuko, PLEASE LET IT BE NEZUKO!"

*internal screaming*
