Chapter 108 - Japan's Recovery

After the Pseudo-Upper Moons were wiped out from the face of the planet, it became much easier for the Demon Retribution Front to fight back. Forces of slayers spread out all along Japan, clearing out every last demon that prowled the lands.

"Niigata Prefecture, cleared! Calling to seal the area, now!" a lieutenant called. Giyu Tomioka then stated that the Kanto region of Japan was completely cleared of any demon. Soon, it went on and on, until eventually...

August 31st, 2030

Everyone had a big party at the main vessel of MizuTech, and it spread throughout 65% of Japan. Everyone was celebrating the retaliation against the demons, and the success of taking Japan back from those wretched demons.

"EAT HEARTILY! DRINK HEARTILY! DO IT TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT! OUR VICTORY OVER THESE SCUMBAG DEMONS IS A CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION! DO NOT HOLD BACK! PARTY TILL YOU DROP!" Isekai yelled, encouraging everyone. A big party happened on a huge portion of Japan, and it lasted for a whole week before it completely cleared.

Finally, the people of Class 1-A were able to graduate, since they kept up on their education while still training for the war. They became second-years.

September 10th, 2030, Kimetsu Academy

Kimetsu Academy finally opened again, and all the students that were there last year came pouring in to enroll, and get put up for their classrooms. Yahaba was the first of the nineteen of last year's Class 1-A to get to the desk.

"Yahaba-kun, right?" the lady asked, checking the papers. She nodded, and said he was enlisted in Class 2-A. Tanjiro and Nezuko came up next. The lady looked up on the papers, and told them they were in class 2-A. This happened for everyone else in Class 1-A last year.

Classroom 2-A

Isekai, Kaigaku, Zenitsu and Inosuke were all playing a game of 2-Card Poker, with Muichiro being the dealer. "Alright, I'll start. Going in with 25000 yen!" Inosuke called, pushing in twenty-five chips. "Fifteen-thousand yen!" Isekai chimed in, dropping in fifteen chips.

"Ugh, this hand is shit!" Zenitsu muttered, facepalming. "Fold..." he said, muffled by his hand. Kaigaku examined his hand, then decided. "All-in," he said, pushing 100 chips. "All 100 thousand yen? At the start?" Isekai questioned. Muichiro then cleared his throat. "Lay 'em on the table," he said. Kaigaku laid a King of Hearts and an Ace of Spades.

"Hah! I got the two most powerful cards possible. No one can beat me!"  he thought. Inosuke laid a Jack of Clubs and a Queen of Hearts. "See? Inosuke couldn't even do it! Isekai's hand is probably weaker! This is a total win for m..."  he thought, watching as Isekai laid two Aces of Hearts. "...I win, right?" Isekai asks. Yushiro nods, and Kaigaku gets completely knocked out of the game. "Aw... fuck..." he muttered.

Off in another area, Sabito and Makomo were playing each other in a game of Chess, while Yushiro and Nezuko were right next to them, playing Checkers. Tanjiro was with Yuichiro and Kanao, stacking cards. "Come on, so close...!" Yuichiro muttered, placing one last card. Unfortunately, the tower fell apart. "AW, MAN!" Yuichiro groaned in anguish at his loss. "Better luck next time," Tanjiro said.

Genya, Masachika and Aoi were playing catch, and Susamaru and Yahaba were doing a staring contest. Ozaki and Murata were just playing with their Water Magics in the corner, seeing if they can make a big bubble together.
