Chapter 16 - Sleepover

Isekai had been frying up some sweet potato fries when Takeo and Tanjiro just laid their stuff down. Takeo, feeling hungry, came down for some food.

"Isekai, do you have any food? Kinda starving out here..." Takeo asked, audibly hungry. "Hold it for a while, kid. Just gonna finish up these sweet fries, then we can eat," Isekai replied, the latter of who was frying the potato sticks.

Tanjiro looked over at the living room, where he found the latest gaming console which was dated about 2 weeks ago. It read "LunarStation 5". "Where do you get all these gaming consoles?!" Tanjiro asked, surprised. "Literally every console I have comes from MizuTech, and my dad's the founder. How could I not get one of my own for free? I mean, that Moontendo Switch comes from MizuTech. The MBOX Series X, too..." Isekai explained, counting how many platforms he has.

Takeo took a look at the game discs. He had Call of Duty, PvZ Garden Warfare, Minecraft, and many other sorts of games. "Wait a minute... Red Dead Redemption 2?! It's MizuTech-upgraded, too! This guy's lucky that he took over the business!" Takeo exclaimed, clearly jealous. "Even if he was still alive, the staff from MizuTech would have delivered the MT-Upgraded discs to me anyway. I guess being the kid of the founder of a technology production company has its perks," Isekai said, shrugging. "I envy you. Also, where are your mom and dad?" Takeo asked. "They both died to a rhino attacking our car... my mom was pregnant, too..." he answered, visibly upset.

"Oh. I... shouldn't have asked," Takeo apologized, giving his condolences in the process. "Nah, it's good. Anyway, I just finished up making these fries. Let's eat! Made us a few toasts, sweet fries and taiyaki."

"Taiyaki? Sweet!" the youngest exclaimed in delight as he ran over to the table. Tanjiro put down some of his tempura on the table, and the three munched down on their food. After Takeo and Isekai finished eating, they played a few Super Smash Bros. Ultimate rounds before Takeo went to bed.

Isekai and Tanjiro were looking at the Oniscord GC again, to see what was new. It was the usual: a few discussions, Inosuke and Zenitsu arguing, memes from Kanao and Aoi, and Nezuko is usually offline.
