"Really?" you asked.
"Yep! She said her mom wanted to see her grandchild, which is me. Since you haven't met her, I figured I could introduce you to her when we go."
"But what if..she doesn't like me?"
"Honey bear, you're the most loveable person, she'll love you."
You bit your lip.
"If it makes you happy, then I'll go."
"Only if you're comfortable. I won't force you to go. That's not very cool if I force you to go when you don't wanna."
"It's fine love. I'll go. I'd like to meet her, she IS your family after all."
"Yeah. But I'll warn you, she can be a bit...overbearing. And not in a good way."
"As long as you're there with me, I'll be fine!"
"Heh..that's the attitude. I'll be home soon, we can leave soon. My parents are going too, so it won't just be us. She is my hags mother, so she wanted to come."
"Alright my love, I'll see you when you get home. Love you."
"Love you too."
You hung up and sighed, putting a hand over your face.
"Is it bad I'm worrying about meeting his grandmother?" you sighed.
You looked over at Katsuro, who was busy putting his foot in his mouth after his bath.
You giggled.
"Ah blah!" he squealed.
"Good answer baby."
You lifted him up, making him squeal and laugh.
"I'm asking one of my four month old about something so simple! Bad mommy!" you joked, hitting yourself on the head lightly as your son looked at you.
"Uh..uh" he pouted, before grabbing your finger.
"Is that your way of saying I can't hurt myself?" you asked.
"Ahhhblahhh."
You giggled.
You walked back to the nursery to put him with his brothers, smiling and happy with Katsuro bouncing in your arms, but something in the back of your head was worrying you down to the bone.
~~
"I'm homeeeee" Katsuki said as he opened the door.
"Welcome home babe" you said, patting on makeup as you sat on your bed.
"Got you something while I was out" he purred, walking over to you and smirking.
"You spoil me" you giggled, looking up and kissing his lips for a second, before he handed you a bag.
"Don't worry, I got myself something nice to wear as well."
You looked skeptical as he smirked, waiting for you to open the bag.
You opened the bag, pulling out a (F/C) long sleeved dress, with a black belt in the middle, a rose on the side, and a slit on the right side going up to the thigh.
"It's so pretty! Thank you Katsu" you said, hugging Katsuki as you thanked him.
"Anything for you."
You put the items down, and got back to doing your makeup.
"Beauty at its finest.." he mumbled.
You looked at him, before continuing.
"You're cute."
"D-dumbass!"
You looked back at him.
He was now blushing and looking away.
"I-I'm cool, not cute!"
You giggled, before standing up and walking to the restroom.
"So...I'm meeting your grandmother right? What do I call her?" you asked.
"Grandma Bakugo. She's...something else. But since I've been born, she hasn't been the old old hag she was. She isn't the nicest person you've met. You can call her Misses Bakugo. I don't know how she feels about anything else."
You nodded, kind of shaking.
"What's wrong love?" Katsuki asked.
"Just...nervous."
"You'll be fine. I promise, she'll love you."
You smiled weakly, before turning back to getting ready.
"Have Aimi get the kids ready. Extra warm since it's almost Christmas time."
"I will."
He got up and called for Aimi, making sure to get her direct orders.
"I'm going to start getting ready. We still have to drive there" Katsuki said, walking over to the restroom to start washing up and changing.
~~
"You look gorgeous!" Mitsuki said, wrapping her arms around you.
You had arrived at the house, meeting with Mitsuki and Masaru before you went upstairs.
"Thank you," you thanked.
"Ready to go upstairs?" she asked.
"My mother is..a bit much."
"I'm ready."
Holding Katsuki's hand, you made your way upstairs, followed by his parents.
He stopped you before you opened the door.
"Let me go in first" he whispered, kissing your forehead, then opening the door.
"Hi grandma," he said, walking into the room with a smile.
"My grandson!" she smiled, walking over and hugging him.
"How have you been?! I haven't seen you since you were fourteen! You've gotten so much bigger!"
You smiled, watching as they reunited.
She let go of Katsuki, before looking over at you, her expression changing.
"Who is she?"
You smiled.
"It is lovely to meet you Misses Bakugo."
She looked at you, almost disgusted.
Your smile faltered.
"You're supposed to bow to your superiors."
She looked spiteful at you.
"What is that you're holding?" she asked, spitting as she spoke.
You wiped away any spit that landed on you.
"Oh this?" you asked, looking down and motioning to the carrier you had for your babies.
"No, the woman behind you...of course that!" she yelled.
You flinched.
"O-oh..I'm sorry...these are our children" you stuttered, opening the cover to her.
"Oi, they look nothing like you!" she laughed.
"Guess the Bakugo blood overran whatever runt blood she has!" she cackled, elbowing Katsuki.
You looked down, hurt from her words.
She put a hand on your shoulder.
"You sure they're your kids?" she asked.
"Y-yeah.."
"Who knows at this point. You could've been pregnant with someone else's children."
"Grandmother!" Katsuki yelled, before stepping in front of you in defense.
"What? I'm just joking honey. No hard feelings, right woman?" she asked, moving to be able to see you.
"Yeah..it's fine."
You looked down again as she moved on to welcome Masaru and Mitsuki.
"You alright hun?" Katsuki asked.
"Yeah."
Your eyes watered, before you took a shaky breath and let it slide off.
"Let me hold one of the brats" she demanded, her arms outstretched in front of you.
"Oh...can you wash your hands first please? Just a precaution we-"
"Are you calling me dirty?! How dare you!" she yelled, slapping your cheek, and hard.
You yelped, falling back and dropping the carrier.
"Mom!" Mitsuki screamed.
"Don't treat (Y/N) like that!"
"She was only telling you that because it's what guests do to hold a baby in the first place" Masaru growled through gritted teeth.
You put a hand to your cheek, still stinging.
"Don't yell at your mother Mitsuki!" she screamed at her.
"Honey bear! Are you alright?!" Katsuki panicked as he ran over to you.
Tears escaped your eyes as you held onto your cheek.
This was a mistake..we should've never come..
He looked at your cheek, before grabbing some bandages from the first-aid kit you carried around.
You felt blood trickle from your cheek, and Katsuki cleaned it up and patched it up.
"Bah! She's overreacting!" the grandmother yelled, before bending down and picking up a baby.
Kazuki immediately began to fuss and cry as she held him.
"Oh shut up! I'm your great grandmother!"
Katsuki immediately ran over and grabbed him from her, taking the carrier with the others as well.
"You DO NOT, smack my wife, and then grab my child, AND SCREAM AT IT!" he screamed, angered at the woman.
All three of the triplets broke out into cries as he screamed.
"You MARRIED that thing?! Ugh I've never been more disgusted" she complained.
"She's my wife, and I love her."
"A disgrace to the Bakugo family! She's not even family! She will never be a Bakugo! And those brats, with that...runt blood running through their veins."
He growled, and all three of them yelled at the woman.
You stayed silent, tears falling down your cheeks.
Runt blood? Not...a Bakugo?
Doubts ran through your head.
Maybe...I was never fit to be a Bakugo..I should've..I should've never married him!
Once the room somewhat died down, they went downstairs to start making dinner.
"What a terrible mother. Who drops her children like nothing?" she spat, before going down the stairs.
Terrible mother..
You shook and sobbed silently into Katsuki's chest as he held you.
"She would've never done it if you hadn't slapped her.." Mitsuki growled.
"Will you be alright?" she mouthed to Katsuki, her face worried.
"Give us a minute."
She nodded, before going down the stairs.
Not a single word was spoken between you and Katsuki, and you felt your heart break, your relationship sinking.
~~
"Shouldn't your wife be making dinner?" Akusuki spat as you made it down the stairs with Katsuki.
He glared over at her.
"Sh-she's right..I'm sorry..I'll g-get started r-right away" you stuttered, walking over to the kitchen to get stuff ready.
"A wife that can't even cook...who have you married Katsuki? A useless woman?"
You looked down.
You tried to cut one of the veggies Mitsuki gave you, only to put the knife shakily to the veggie, shaking as tears fell.
Mitsuki ran over and grabbed it from you, putting it down.
"Go sit down hun" she whispered.
"No! She can't sit down! It is her job to cook and clean."
"Shut up hag!" Mitsuki yelled to her.
"Go sit...it's fine."
You shook your head and wiped your eyes.
"No..it's fine I-I can do it."
You struggled, but managed to cut what you needed to.
"Good. At least she's an obedient bitch."
Your heart fell.
St-stay strong..
~~
"Katsuki! Don't bring the plates to the table! That's (Y/N)'s job!" Akusuki said again.
"It's just plates, no big deal" he shrugged.
You grabbed two plates, shaky hands and legs, walking over to give one to Akusuki.
When your leg faltered, you spilled a plate, dropping it on the floor.
"I'm sorry!" you yelled, placing the other plate in front of Akusuki.
"Ugh! Making my house into a pig stye! I'll teach you some manners!" she yelled, grabbing the plate and dumping the contents onto your head.
You gasped, before standing up, the food sliding down your hair.
Kosuki broke out into tears.
Akusuki put an elbow to the table, pointing at you.
"You come in my house...claiming your my grandson's wife, and that those things are his children.." she started.
Your heart was pounding.
"Ma'am I-"
"THEN, you call me dirty, in MY OWN HOUSE. Overreact when I hit you, and make a mess of my house. You're not suited to be a Bakugo, and you never will be!"
"Grandmother!"
"Mom!"
"You're a RUNT with RUNT BLOOD! And you've infected my family for far too long! Look at what you've done to my grandson! He's not the man I knew. And that's your doing! You, and those three motherfuckers that AREN'T his, are no longer welcomed as 'family'. Divorce my grandson and stay out of his life!"
"MOM!" Mitsuki screamed, slamming her hands on the table, her face twisted with a fury you've never seen.
Your heart fell.
You stuttered, before running out of the house like your life depended on it.
"(Y/N), my love wait!" Katsuki yelled.
I don't belong here!
I never have..
And I never will!
You ran for dear life as the thunder rolled on the cloudy night.
I don't belong there..
You wiped your eyes, still running aimlessly.
"(Y/N)!" Katsuki's voice sounded.
"(Y/N), hun come back!"
"Come back dear!"
You sobbed, still running.
You ran into an alleyway, hiding in there.
You sat on the wet floor, your dress getting soaked.
I..should've never married him!
Should've never fallen in love with him!
Your chest heaved as tears fell from your eyes.
I don't belong in his family!
You cried silently as they continued to search for you.
"We need to go home! It's really starting to pour!" Mitsuki shouted.
"No! I'm not going back! Not without my love" Katsuki shouted back, sounding close by.
You let out a whimper, and everything went silent.
"(Y/N)?" a voice sounded.
You looked up, seeing a flashlight shining on you.
"Ma! I found her!" Katsuki yelled.
You sobbed, before putting your head back on your knees.
"You alright? My gods! Your skin is like ice!"
He put the flashlight in his mouth, picking you up into his arms.
"We need to get you home. You'll get sick" he said, taking the flashlight out of his mouth and walking towards the streets.
"(Y/N), thank god you're okay!" Mitsuki said, going up to you.
You shivered.
"My god Katsuki, we need to get her home, and now!"
~~
You lay on the couch, eyes opening as you regained consciousness.
"What...happened?" you asked.
"You're awake!"
Katsuki sniffled, before hugging you.
"Don't..scare me like that.." he sobbed.
"Are you alright dear?" Mitsuki asked.
"Y-yeah I think so...where are the kids?" you asked.
"They're asleep in my room, they're safe."
You looked around the house, seeing that it was Katsuki's parents house.
"I'm so sorry...I didn't think my mother would do that.." she cried.
"She was so vile and mean..."
You looked down, looking at the ring that shined on your finger.
You slid it off, handing it to Katsuki.
"(Y-Y/N)?" he asked.
"I'm sorry...I was never meant..to be a Bakugo. I have done nothing but cause you and your family trouble."
Tears fell from your eyes.
"I think...you should marry someone else..someone worthy of the name Bakugo."
He looked down.
"No. No no no..you're the ONLY one truly worthy of the name. The only one I want to be honored with."
He gave it back.
"She...said I had runt blood...and that our children...my children weren't yours."
"She's a bitch! Don't listen to her!"
You looked up at Mitsuki.
"We cut her from Katsuki's life for a reason...she's not a good person."
"You are the most...the only person that has made my son happy" Mitsuki said.
"We all know damn well, that you have the purest blood...she's not our family. We don't talk to her anymore..and it's my fault this all happened."
"I...made you go.." Katsuki admitted.
"She's a sour old woman...and I apologize."
You stayed silent as tears fell from your eyes.
"You're the only person truly worthy of being a Bakugo. And your children...are so beautiful and amazing...I would never assume you were cheating or anything. You are so much more family than anyone in the world."
Mitsuki wrapped her arms around you.
"So...don't go feeling that it was a mistake that you married him. You're..amazing and gorgeous..everything I've ever wanted from a daughter in law."
"Put the ring back on love...you are NEVER someone invalid or unworthy or unwanted. You've blessed me with so many things..and I'm forever grateful."
You looked at Katsuki, before throwing your arms around him.
"You're the only person I've ever wanted...and you blessed me with three of the most precious things in my life. So don't go feeling that I think you're unworthy of my name."
You cried.
"I..thought I'd never make it as a Bakugo..turns out I was right.."
"No honey.." Mitsuki shook her head.
You looked up at Katsuki, who had tears in his eyes.
"...I was born to be a Bakugo."
