i was planning on updating today but i need to add one more scene to the next chapter. if it isn't uploaded tonight i will try to do so tomorrow!

what or who is lydia's humanity?

lydia's humanity is the mikaelsons.

how jealous can kol or lydia get?

in a completely non toxic way, i think that both of them can be pretty jealous/possessive in a non toxic way. lydia's would stem from her many insecurities and worries that she's not kol's type of that he would rather be with someone else. as they go further in their relationship and she realizes kol would never do that, i think she would just not like anyone hitting on kol and make it clear to them that he was with her, which i think he would actually find attractive.

as for kol, i don't think he'd be jealous because he's not worried about lydia wanting anyone else. i think he could come off as jealous because of lydia's past. he knows that being touched or flirted with by someone she doesn't know can easily upset her, so he makes sure it never happens. lydia would never upfront ask someone flirting with kol to back off, she would just make it known that she's with him and probably walk away with kol. kol on the other hand would be up front about it and confront the person.

when it comes to friends, neither are the type to be jealous of friendships

who exactly is sammy to lydia in this?

so, he is lydia's connection to humanity. he doesn't know anything about vampires, so he is who she goes to when she needs a break from all of it.

when is her humanity coming back on?

i can't answer that because it will spoil a question that you will have to figure out the answer to!

who turns her humanity back on?

her family.

other than kol, who is lydia's favorite/least favorite mikaelson? (not including mikael or esther)

this is actually a bit of a tricky question because she is best friends with klaus and in a way, looks up to him, but she also got close with rebekah over the act and loves her like a sister. i think klaus would win as her fav and finn would probably be her least fav. if you don't count finn then elijah. but overall, her least fav would be freya (if they were to ever meet).

are we still getting a klydia au book?

sadly, not a full book. maybe an AU or two, or a short story, but i have no storyline for it and lydia is kol's soulmate. she has no romantic connection to klaus and i can't imagine there being a situation in which they fall in love.

there is a scene this act that i honestly could use to start it. i wouldn't include it in this book because it's not where i want lydia's story to go but i think it would be a good place to start an au.
