Lydia awoke early the next morning, she was still a bit tired since she had an exhausting night and it didn't help that she woke up in the middle of her sleep. She found that it was difficult for her to sleep in, unless she was absolutely exhausted, she preferred waking up early in the morning. She hoped that morning, that she would have the house to herself for a bit. Elena and Jeremy usually woke up after her and she talked to them so much last night that she wanted a break. Just a small one. Lydia knew she wanted them to pay more attention to her, but it seemed so fake now and they were over doing it. So she wasn't surprised when she walked into the kitchen and saw Elena at the kitchen table, scrolling through her phone and holding a cup of tea in the other hand.

"Good morning," Elena smiled up at her, placing her cup down on the table.

"Morning," Lydia mumbled before switching to a more serious topic."I just got a call from Dr. Fell, she referred me to a cardiologist in Atlanta. I have an appointment on Friday but they want me to do some tests before that."

"Okay, do you want me to-" Elena began to ask, but Lydia just cut her off.

"I was actually gonna go with Rae," Lydia spoke over her, even though she hadn't asked Rae yet if she wanted to go. Lydia just knew she wouldn't survive a long drive with Elena. Lydia also wanted to avoid talking about Jace with her. Lydia didn't want to talk about him anymore. With her."We've both been kinda busy lately so it'd be nice to spend some time with each other."

"If that's what you want," Elena looked a little taken back, but she shrugged it off. She noticed that Lydia still stood there, like she had something more to say."Is there anything else?"

"I think I wanna do what you suggested last night," Lydia spoke after a brief moment of silence, thinking of how to phrase what she wanted to say without hurting her sister's feelings."Therapy. I think that it might be good for me, but if I do it, I need you to agree to something. I don't want to talk to you about anything that I'm feeling. Not about Jace. Not about how I'm handling it. I don't want to be mean, it's just hard for me to talk to you about these things but I guess that's something I'd be working on."

Elena thought about it for a moment. It was her idea that Lydia saw one, after everything she had gone through, Elena thought it would be really helpful. Of course she was upset that Lydia didn't want to talk to her about certain things, but Elena tried not to let it upset her. She knew it would be good for Lydia and that was all that mattered."Okay. I'll find someone for you and set it up."

Lydia narrowed her eyes for a moment, watching as her sister took a sip from her drink. There wasn't anything specific that Elena did to make Lydia realize this. She just knew her sister, even if her sister didn't know her."You already found someone, didn't you?"
