Lydia was normally a calm person. Except for when she wasn't. This was one of the moments when she wasn't. Every day at the same time, Lydia had to take her medication, at the same time. Her parents had settled on eight in the evening and that's what she stuck with. They chose eight because it was an hour before her bed time when she was younger and most likely would not be sleeping and would typically be home. There have been a few times when Lydia almost missed it and this was one of those moments. She had left her bag in Elena's car yesterday and in her bag was the medication. The second she heard the timer go off on her phone and couldn't find her bag, she remembered where it was.

So she began to panic. Her first instinct was to call Elena and so she did. The first three times, Lydia didn't answer, but when she did, Lydia breathed out a sigh of relief.

"Is everything alright?" Elena was quick to ask."Are you okay?"

"I forgot my medication in a bag in your car," Lydia answered within seconds."I don't expect you to bring it, but can I come get it? Do you have an extra set of keys or can you meet me outside or something?"

"Yeah, yeah, they're in the top drawer of my dresser," Elena let out a sigh of relief, she was glad that nothing had happened to her younger sister. The missed calls had told her something was wrong, she was glad that nothing was. At least not too badly. If Lydia was late on taking her medication, it wasn't that big of a deal, but she understood why Lydia was nervous."Next time just find the car and break the window or something. Don't wait for me to give you permission, okay?"

"Yeah," Lydia laughed a little bit, already heading towards her sister's room so that she could get the spare set of keys and be on her way."I'll call you when I'm there and have it. Bye Lena."

Lydia was quick to hand up the phone, wanting to get there as soon as possible. She knew that stressing out wasn't good for her and being late on taking the medication would be fine. She was even told that she could miss a few days and would be fine, but Lydia didn't want to risk it. Her parents always stressed the importance of taking it on time and it was a habit now. So she couldn't stop worrying until she had done it.

The moment Lydia swallowed her daily pill she felt better, more relaxed. She knew she shouldn't stress out, it wasn't good for her heart. But she couldn't help it. She panicked and rightfully so, anyone would in her position. She took a deep breath, closing the door to Elena's car, making sure to lock it.

It was fairly cold outside, she hadn't even thought to bring a jacket since she ran out the house as quickly as possible. In fact, she was still in her shorts and tank top. Hopefully, no one would see her here. She already felt out of place when standing in front of the luxurious mansion. She had seen a few people in the distance, all dressed up in tuxes and gowns. She would surely stand out so her plan was to get back to her car and leave. She didn't know if Kol would be there. It was his party after all, but he had to be inside. While she didn't want to, Lydia couldn't stop thinking about him since they met. There was something about him that made her want to know him, but at the same time, she knew that she should stay away. She had a boyfriend and she was pretty sure a guy like Kol wasn't looking for a friend. Not that she even knew what type of guy Kol was, but the way that he looked at her didn't remind her of how her friends looked at her. So she knew that she had to be quick and leave. That was her plan at least.
