Chapter 41: Letter from Tamayo

Tanjiro-san & (Y/N)-san,

Thank you very much for supplying both Nezuko-san's blood and the blood from those demon moons. Although, (Y/N)-san is the one I'm quite worried about. Her blood seems to have a high amount of Kibutsuji's blood when she sent it, and since (Y/N)-san is a pillar, due to her rough training, she was able to withstand it and not let Kibutsuji take control. You see, the demon-human drug is still in progress, but the blood (Y/N)-san gave me, seems to have a high amount of Kibutsuji's blood, but not higher than (Y/N)'s amount. I know that (Y/N) has worked her way up to be the strongest pillar of demon slayer corps, but if she becomes a demon, we may not know which side she may take. A big worry of mine is, now that (Y/N) can stand in the sun, Kibutsuji will send countless demons after her to take her no matter what. Please take care of (Y/N) and Nezuko, Tanjiro. Please take care of yourself as well.

Tanjiro remembered reading that letter. He gazed sadly at (Y/N)'s unconscious form. They were now resting and recovering at the butterfly estate, and (Y/N) still hasn't woken up.

Tanjiro's P.O.V.

(Y/N) seems to be in a comatose state. I'm really worried about her. When we didn't find her napping in her room, we tried looking anywhere else she might be. Kotetsu tried helping too, but then demons started attacking. "I'm sorry (Y/N)... I should've checked on you earlier..." I thought. But the thing I couldn't believe, was that (Y/N) was turned into upper moon 0. She must've had a lot of Kibutsuji's blood. I despise that man. Not only did he kill my family and ruin peoples lives, but he also harmed (Y/N). "I will not let him go..." I thought, determined. I will save (Y/N), and I will turn her and Nezuko back into a human! I left the room, and went to my recovery room.

Nobody's P.O.V.

(In the meantime, there was a pillar meeting...)

"Aagh. I envy you guys, dammit. Why can't I bump into uppermoons?" Sanemi said. " It's not like people bump into them all the time. But how are you 2 doing, Kanroji and Tokito?" Obanai asked. "Oh! Yeah! Yes, I'm feeling a lot better!" Mitsuri replied. "I...am not at full strength yet..." Muichiro said. "If we lose any more pillars, the demon hunters will be in trouble... hopefully (Y/N) recovers, and will be ok. I'm worried for her." Gyomei said. "I'm worried about (Y/N) too, when I was checking on her the last few months, she had a high fever, but was fine. She still has the same temperature right now..." Shinobu said worriedly. "Oyakata-sama probably wants to talk to us about everything, including this." Giyuu said calmly, but was still worried for (Y/N).
