DC Headcanon's 3: Now with 10 Percent More Angst

California probably owns a nice home above a little antique/thrift store

It's like full of plants, those hanging decors, and I'm not doing the description justice but that's how I imagine it

He has a dresser just for his boyfriends clothes when they stay over. DC particularly likes his balcony because the sun seems to hit right there in the morning and it just feels so warm.

Sometimes at night the two will get high and sit on a the balcony and just people watch.

California worries when DC insists he can move around his neighborhood while he's off doing work. He lives in a pretty gay neighborhood but DC is way too trusting for his own good.

But when California comes home and goes searching for DC, and finds him in a queer bookstore just reading, and DC smiles up at him because he's just so comfortable it makes it all worth it

Everyone in the neighborhood knows DC. He's one of Peter's boyfriends who'll spend hours in shops and will chat with anyone who'll listen.

They've wondered how California ended up with a fed but seeing them together, it's clear California loves DC more then life

Sometimes he'll wander a little further away from the neighborhood to the library in the main city.

Sometimes he checks the events and volunteer with anything with the kids. He's the best at storytime.
