Looking around while being taken to a different room, Lady Dimitrescu's hand was still around your wrist, but she soon let your arm slip from her grasp, remembering she's much larger than you. You stood just a bit above her pelvis and bottom of her abdomen. You counted your steps, matching her pace.

1 step, 3 steps, 1 step, 3 steps...

This continued to run through your mind until you both made it to a room. Had the stairs been that seamless of a climb? Looking around, you watched her open the door to a guest room. "You must be so tired from wandering around at night, you can stay here for the morning. I will request that you stay in here until the evening, my younger brother will be here and he's... A handful." Lady Dimitrescu's words filled your mind, parting the fog that was holding your thoughts. You gave a small nod, then poked your head into the room. It was the size of a normal bedroom, perhaps a touch larger. Walking in, you turned your head to face Lady Dimitrescu as she took in a quiet breath to speak. "My daughters will tend to you during my meeting." You looked up at her, feeling the same instinctual need to run fill you again.

After giving a nod and taking a seat on the bed, the door was shut quietly. It only now struck you how tired you were, staying up all night prancing around was not the best choice. Easing yourself to lay down, you cocooned yourself into a bundle and felt sleep wash over you like a gentle wing.

It was only during your dreams that you felt the need to run disappear. The only thing you could see was a pair of pale golden orbs staring at you, followed by a deep gutteral growl. However, you stood your ground, staring with just as much pride. With a blink, you were in a field of rhododendron and chrysanthemum flowers. The sky was a pale blue, no cloud in sight. Lifting your arm to look, the wound was healed, but thorns poked out.

Odd...

You went to go pick out the thorn, but heard that growl behind you. Turning to face who or what made the sound, your dream was interrupted.

"Hey, wake up." Your eyes flashed open, your gaze looking for the person who spoke. Your eyes met a brunette with part of her hair shaved off. She looked younger than Cassandra, but only by a bit. "Mother told me to check up on you. You've been sleeping a while, no requests, not a peep. The meeting finished ten minutes ago." She sounded annoyed, or that was her general attitude. You slowly got up, holding the blanket around yourself for that extra warmth. "Also, change into this. Mother said something about looking proper for dinner, or some shit." You looked at the clothes, then rustled through your bag that was placed in your room.

Forgot that outside I guess...

You handed the woman a folded hoodie. "Thanks. Also, I think you might like this." Trading the clothes, you watched her unfold the hoodie. It was her size, definitely something from when you were younger. Her moody expression changed to a small grin. "You know about this band?" She asked, looking over to you. You were already on your way to the door on the other side of the room, the bathroom door. "Yeah, my sibling gave me that hoodie when they went to their first concert. It doesn't fit me anymore." You slipped into the bathroom, getting changed.

When you came out, the woman was digging through your bag. "Woah, hey now." You gently tapped her shoulder, drawing her attention. "You have so much cool stuff! Dice, books, a laptop, is this an old iPod?" She was putting stuff on the bed, staring at the old iPod with it's equally old earbuds wrapped around it. "Oh, that was my cousin's before she passed. She liked the same stuff and it was given to me. I don't know what songs are on there, but if you want it, you can have it. Here's the charger for it." You picked up the charger, handing it over. Her eyes lit up, grinning. "Oh, by the way, my name is Daniela." She put her hand out, wanting to be friendly after being given gifts. "(Y/N)."

Daniella slipped the hoodie over her robe, rushing to her room to charge the iPod and came back to you to take you to the dining room.

Cassandra shot you a look of pure disgust, all while Daniela was happier than a cat getting cream. You looked up at Lady Dimitrescu, being given the seat nearest to her. Taking your seat, it dawned on you.

You are never leaving.
