Lady Dimitrescu heard the blizzard outside billowing outside, ordering all the windows to be covered by the shutters to keep the glass from breaking. She realized her newfound love of the season, getting to cuddle with you by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa. She become more relaxed towards the maids with her happier mood, but now more maids were coming into the castle for a job and shelter. With this, she picked off the oldest maids for her wine, not wanting to pick off fresh recruits.
Lady Dimitrescu checked her calendar. It was already mid-December and the November holidays were over. Much to her dismay, you were going to have family visit for Christmas. She didn't celebrate Christmas with her daughters, they never seemed interested. However, now, they were excited to participate as you had family coming by.
You did ask if you could invite your family, Lady Dimitrescu was just worried about one thing. Would they like her? Aspen laid on her lap, Alcina fingers running through her freshly combed fur. She thought of the exact day today was. December 20th.
They'll be arriving any time soon, how do I make myself appear? Laid back? Regal? Both? Neither?
Lady Dimitrescu came up to you, anxious. "What's wrong?" You asked, your voice holding more concern than Alcina would've liked to hear. "How do I look?" She asked, wearing her signature white dress and hat. "Like a goddess." You holding your head in your hand and fluttering your eyelashes. "(Y/N), I'm meeting your parents for the holiday. They'll be here for 10 days, how do I look?" She gestured to her whole body. Lady Dimitrescu didn't want to admit that she was nervous, but she was nervous. "All white will remind them of the snow, all black will make them think it's a funeral. Too regal will probably make me look like a snob, too casual and they'll think I'm a fake." Alcina squeaked out, panicking.
Alcina followed you as you guided her to the closet. A cute grey dress with white accents and a black rose to match her hat. Helping her get changed, Lady Dimitrescu practically ran out of the closet when she heard your family was already there. Luckily, she stayed still for the most part. She came down the stairs, you quickly following her. Your mother, father, grandmother, and youngest cousin stood in the main hall in complete shock by the beauty of the castle.
Bela, Daniela, and Cassandra came down to the main hall, cleaned up and lacking blood on their face. Alcina gave them each a handshake, internally panicking.
Your family look to be nice people, but I have a strange feeling that they're scared of me, (Y/N)!
Looking to your youngest cousin, Alcina bent over and felt her grab her index finger. "You're very tall! I want to be tall just like you!" Your cousin happily shook her hand, bringing a smile to Alcina's lips. "You'll grow to be just as tall as me if you eat all your vegetables." She encouraged, seeing your cousin's eyes dazzle with amazement.
I hope you like me, I've been taking care of (Y/N) to the utmost degree. I love them so much. I hope to take good care of you while you visit.
