Daniela felt as though her world was already starting to crumble, the thought of you possibly dying fell heavy on her mind. Poking her head into the room after Bela walked by, she felt her heart break as she noticed her mother didn't hold you anymore. Getting your bags ready from clothes in your old room, she found herself sobbing. Estella, sneaking out of her room, came up to her and gave her a hug. "What's wrong?" Estella asked quietly, helping with putting in the clothes. "I shouldn't be telling you this, but the reason mother and (Y/N) don't kiss is because mother has been dealing with these strange urges. Cassandra agreed to do some tests on (Y/N)'s blood to see if that's any factor. The missing maids are dead. They were eaten." Daniela whimpered out, seeing Estella's slightly shocked face.

"I had an idea that was happening, why everyone is on such high edge. I may be six, but I'm smarter than you think." Estella explained quietly. "Sometimes... Sometimes some things are just meant to happen. Sherry told me that the universe sends us people and sometimes they'll take those people back if they fulfilled their purpose." Estella added. Daniela rested her head on Estella's shoulder, tears still running down her cheeks. "If (Y/N) does die, what are you going to do?" Estella asked quietly. Daniela stared at your shirt, seeing a symbol of a mouse and a castle. "I'll never forgive myself for letting it happen." Daniela whimpered out, feeling Estella gently pat her back. "We can only do so much." Estella reminded.

You're just a kid, you shouldn't be acting this competent.

Daniela gave a deep sigh, finishing with packing the bag and looked over to Estella. "Do you think if mom didn't have her vampiric urges, they'd be married forever?" Estella asked. Daniela gave it some thought, then nodded. "Yeah. But a wolf is going to hunt anyways." Daniela shrugged. Daniela stood the bag up by the door with your passport in the front pocket. She went to her room, waiting for the morning as she quietly cried, Estella handing her snacks and watching Dexter's Laboratory. Daniela stayed curled up in bed, Aspen laying beside her. Even when you came by and said goodbye, Daniela mainly stayed in bed and cried into your arm.

Estella stayed beside her, Daniela finding comfort in her sister's company. She would watch Cassandra and Eclipse walk by, talking happily with their hands together. Daniela felt sadness, but was happy for Cassandra. What was odd was that Eclipse looked a lot like Moira, perhaps a second chance at happiness.

During the start of the week, Daniela noticed more maids were going missing, primarily in the darkest points in the night. Luckily, Alcina was picking the ones who didn't make any connections with the other maids, but how her mother was acting was frightening to her. She was back to Square 1 like before you came into their lives. Autumn was setting in this week and Daniela took her mother out hunting. Daniela watched as her mother quickly turned her attention to a noise in the woods, rushing towards the sound like a silent owl. Daniela could just barely catch up, seeing some fur trappers hunting the foxes in the area.

What disgusting man-things. Killing innocent foxes for their fur.

Daniela felt anger bubble in her, but with a blink she saw her mother bring the nightmares of the men come true. They were dragged into the woods, their decapitated heads falling from the trees. When the last man was caught, he cried out for mercy as he was dragged into the darkness. When Daniela went to check the rewards of the hunt, she noticed that her mother burying the bodies. "They tasted horrible, like rancid meat." Alcina hissed, going back on the hunt after putting the fire out.

Daniela followed behind her mother, looking out for any animals. No deer, no wolves, no lycans. Soon, they went back to the castle, seeing her mother stalk in the shadows felt unusual. Normally, Daniela saw her mother soaking up the light like a peacock showing its feathers. Now, she lured maidens away to their death while she waited to see you again, waited to feel you in her arms.

Was Mia's sacrifice in vain?
