You laid in bed, carefully sitting up upon hearing someone come in. Seeing Cassandra come in, your gaze traveled down to what she had in her hand. A tray of nothing but pizza bagels, almost double the amount she had eaten. "This is my offering to make peace with you." Cassandra put the pizza bagels on the table beside you, giving a small grin. You looked over the bagels then looked up at her. "They're not poisoned. Mother made them with me... She said it would be more meaningful if I made them by hand..." Cassandra whispered, sitting in the chair. You took a bagel and took a bite, grinning. "The flavor is far superior than the bagels from the box. I forgive you." You held your other hand out, Cassandra sheepishly reaching out and shaking your hand. "Peace?" She asked, receiving a nod from you. "Peace."

After eating about 4 bagels, you had Cassandra eat some with you as you knew you wouldn't be able to finish them all. These were full sized and they had made enough to feed a village, pun not intended. "These are good, holy fuck." Cassandra whispered, savoring the flavor. While you two ate, Lady Dimitrescu came down. You hadn't even noticed the time, it was already night time. "The maids have informed me that you are allowed to wander the castle as your stitches have healed rather quickly." She held her hand out. In which you put a pizza bagel in her hand. "You need to try one. These are really good, babe." You excitedly told her.

You watched her face change to slight shock from calling her babe, mouth open as she was about to take a bite. "Babe?" She asked, a bit shocked. "Yeah, you know, like, you're one hot babe." You could see her face change from several emotions. Confusion, shock, thoughtfulness, then to content. "Please, not in front of me." Cassandra squeaked out, awkward.

Eating the pizza bagels and making Cassandra leave from feeling awkward due to the flirting. "I'm gonna go check on the horses. You two are weird." Cassandra, slowly walking out then broke into a run to get away from her mother and soon to be parent being, in her words, gross.

I fucked your mom and now I'm gonna become your step-parent. I kept my promise.

Lady Dimitrescu helped you out of bed, babying you almost. "I'm fine, Alci." You reassured. You counted your steps as you walked beside her, realizing you have gotten slower.

1 step, 5 steps, 1 step, 5 steps...

You felt Alcina slow her pace, catching on that you aren't as fast as you used to be.

2 steps, 3 steps, 2 steps, 3 steps...

You looked up, smiling. "Thanks." You gave her hand a kiss then remembered how long you had been in the infirmary, which was a bit. "Oh my goodness, I better not let the girls pester you about something." She sighed. You looked up, confused. "Next Tuesday is my birthday." You stared in shock. "You didn't tell me when your birthday was." You stopped in your tracks. "I don't celebrate it much."

I need to make this birthday the best birthday for you.
