Alcina soaked up the warmth of the bath, her aching muscles soon relaxing and her scars healing over. While her scars healed, they still left marks on her body. She kept a hand on you, listening to you sleep as she ran a couple fingers over a couple of her scars. They'll be memories of her frenzied state, of her territorial demeanor. She washed away the lycan stench, taking a couple rounds of soap to make sure it washed out completely. She made sure you were removed of the smell, replacing the stench with her soft scent. Slipping out of the bath, she pulled you out as well and dried you off after drying herself off.

When was the last time I had maiden's blood?

Alcina dressed your sleeping body, feeling a droplet of drool well up in the corner of her lip. Was she already starting to feel hunger again? Was she reverting back to when you first met her? Alcina looked at your hands, so small compared to hers, so delicate and prey-like, so fragile. She had been so caught up in loving you that she had forgotten her desire for blood, for writhing flesh. Of course you gave her blood in small vials, but to Alcina that was just a treat to satiate a burning desire. Her mouth began to water, starving for flesh. She bore her teeth, clenching her jaw to keep from taking a bite from you. The twisting sickening hunger made her nauseous, regular food just wasn't enough for her. She needed raw human flesh.

The door slowly opened, Mia poking her head through the crack. Alcina could feel vomit in her throat, sickened and yet starving at the thought of devouring you. As she saw Mia, a switch turned on. If she got blood on her nightgown, then she could just destroy the evidence. She could see the fear in Mia's eyes, but it was understood. Mia would have to sacrifice herself. She opened the door wider, giving a nod as she ran down the hall. Alcina broke into a run, crawling through the door as she chased Mia like a wolf chasing a mouse. Bursting through the courtyard doors, Alcina managed to grab Mia, rolling down the stairs as she kept her close. Her hands were shaking, never having to hunt like this. It felt wonderful to chase down prey, to feel it shiver in her arms. It made her smile.

Your sacrifice will not go in vain. Thank you for your help.

Alcina could feel Mia's panicked heartbeat, sinking her teeth into her neck and feeling her spine snap. A quick and merciful death. The ground was painted red, Alcina's now rough tongue scraping meat off bone and muscle away from skin. She was sweet like candy, but had a bitter aftertaste like rotten sugar that lingered. Alcina continued to consume as much as she could, disposing of undesirable organs. Her jaw was coated in blood, feeling new energy rush through her. All that laid before her was skin, hair, bones, and a few organs. Alcina looked at the blood around her, the moonlight doing her no justice. Bela stood in the doorway, eyes wide at the scene before her.

Alcina slowly got up, making quick work of the scraps as she buried them in the shrubbery, marking Mia's grave with a bone. Giving a silent prayer and gratitude, she went back into the castle, walking past Bela. She would have to have this nightgown washed, she'd have to bathe again. To which, she stripped and slipped into the bath again with new water, scrubbing away blood and dirt. Her hunger was satiated for now, but the bitter taste never left her mouth. It was her punishment for being a vampire.
