Staying at the cottage for one more night, you kept your arms wrapped around Lady Dimitrescu's neck even as you slept. Her scent was calming and everything to you. She was home. Drifting into sleep, you were in a dream about being a simple baker and Alcina as your wife and accountant, the two of you running and owning a little bakery in the village. The girls were so small and adorable. However, the dream only lasted for so long as Alci woke you up by shifting around. Opening your eyes, you were back in the carriage to go back to the castle. Thankfully, it was just you and her in the carriage.
"I love you." You tiredly spoke, resting your head on her shoulder. You didn't hear her respond for a moment. "I love you too." Lady Dimitrescu finally responded, her voice a little shocked. You nuzzled into her neck, giving a blissful sigh. "You know, when we first met... I was scared of you. Not because of how tall you are, but because of your fangs. Now... Now I can't get enough of your fangs, I look forward to feeling them when we kiss. I could never be satisfied with kissing anyone else." You laughed a little after speaking. "You ruined kissing for me because I adore your fangs so much." You looked to Lady Dimitrescu, wanting to see her reaction and her response.
"You were scared of me because of my fangs? It wasn't the fact of how tall I am or my claws. It was my fangs?" She asked, confused and giving a playful eye roll. "Of all the aspects about me, you got scared of my fangs." You nodded, grinning. "But I think they make you, well, you. Your beautiful eyes are like two Suns, your lips are soft and so kissable." You began, pulling her into a kiss. "Sometimes I wonder what you'd look like in a wedding dress."
Lady Dimitrescu's smile faded, a little serious. "We haven't been together for a year and you're already thinking about marriage? I mean, I'll live much longer than you." She explained, her eyes full of sadness at the thought of her living longer than you. "Then you'll turn me into a vampire and we can live together forever, or until you get tired of me." You suggested, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "You nearly branded yourself in my name." Lady Dimitrescu added. "Because I'm willing to do anything for you." You gave her jaw a soft nibble, grinning. "Even if I want to know where you're from?" She asked. "I don't mind telling you. To be honest, I'm not even from the village." You explained.
Lady Dimitrescu tilted her head a bit. "I'm from America, I came to Europe to go backpacking with a couple of friends of mine. We heard of a strange secluded village and decided to go there for the rich history. We got stuck there for a few months because of the rain storms, then I decided to go exploring. That's when I found you. My friends want me to come back to America, but this is my home now. You're my home. Your daughters are my daughters." You explained, gently touching her hand.
"That's why I want to marry you some day. To stay with you. Plus, then you could meet my family!" You added. "How about I meet your family after Donna is dealt with?" Alcina suggested, gently booping your nose. "I'd like that."
I'd like that a lot.
