You could hear Lady Dimitrescu shift as your eyes slowly opened. Had you both fallen asleep? Slowly getting up, Lady Dimitrescu gave a soft whisper to you. "Lay back down, I'll be right back." You nodded, sinking back into the cuddly claws of her bed. You could feel sleep washing over you like a gentle wave. Soon enough, you were in a dream. The moon was full and took up the most of the sky. Urging yourself to move around and explore.

Looking around and facing the woods behind you. There had to be 4 pairs of eyes, staring at you. It wasn't until you started to run that you realized what was going on. You were being hunted down. Running for your life, a large wolf grabbed your forearm with it's crushing jaws, then terrible pain. You tried to fight them off, but it was no use. It wasn't until you woke up that you managed to shake off the effects of your nightmare. Checking your stomach to make sure your guts were still in there and sighed softly. It was an unusual nightmare, but you shook it off rather quickly for Lady Dimitrescu's sake.

Today, Lady Dimitrescu had lots of business to take care of. So to help her out while she remained busier than a bee, you did everything she asked and made sure to get it done quickly. You were supposed to be on maid duty today, but Alcina is more important than cleaning. You did everything she needed without question, just happy to help and express your affection through your actions. It wasn't until Donna came in, having an appointment to help Lady Dimitrescu with something. Donna may have been a doll maker, but she was also highly skilled at sewing and tailoring. Who else to make you an uniform to fit Lady Dimitrescu's primary outfit?

Staying still, you let Donna get measurements and felt her hands just barely touch you as she turned you to get better measurements. As you got down, you felt Donna gently grab your hand. You turned to face her, blinking. "I've been wanting to ask... If you'd be willing to join me for tea tonight?" She asked. You thought for a moment, then agreed. Her stature expressed happiness, grabbing the fabrics and heading back to her manor to start sewing.

You went to Lady Dimitrescu's room, grabbing your bag. "Where are you off to, tonight?" She asked, looking over to you. "Donna's place. She wanted to have tea tonight and I told her I'd go." You explained. "Take with you an extra set of clothes and a blanket. It's best if you stay there tonight instead of a dangerous ride home." Alcina added. "No kiss goodbye?" You tilted your head, confused and hurt. Alcina turned, giving you a kiss and sending you off to Donna's manor for the night.

You sat beside Donna, gently sipping your tea. She showed you what she had so far. It was a black dress suit with a white rose, matching Lady Dimitrescu. "You did a great job, Donna!" You smiled, feeling pride for her. Seeing her expression change from content to happy, seeing her overjoyed was a nice change of pace from prim and proper. It felt like home, minus the dolls. She went ahead and put the suit into a box, gently folded and tied with a ribbon. Then, she sat back down. Sitting beside you, talking about what life was like back where you were born and growing up, you mentioned Mia and Ethan. You opened up happily about everything, down to how you first felt about Lady Dimitrescu at first. Fear, fear of her powerfulness and fangs, her ability to rip you apart. You expressed that you didn't scream when Lady Dimitrescu attacked you was because deep down, you knew it was coming. You laughed at your own trauma, brushing it off in hopes of not making a big deal about it.

Then, you felt her soft lips. You half expected to feel fangs, used to how they poked at your bottom lip. However, Donna didn't have fangs. You didn't think about her in this moment, your mind was locked on thinking about kissing Alcina, wanting to feel her fangs, prompting you to lean in just in the hope of feeling fangs. You felt Donna carefully lean away after a few heartbeats, her face red. The moment finally caught up to you. "We don't speak about that." You mumbled, berating yourself internally.

You stupid ass! Look at what you've done! You kissed Donna and LEANED into it? All for what? Hoping that she'd become Alcina?!?

The kiss didn't feel the same, it doesn't feel the same without fangs.
