You watched as Alcina opened her mouth to protest, a droplet of drool threatening to drip from her lip. She shut her mouth, thinking. You gently ran your hand along her jaw. "When you're ready, that is." You added, hearing her swallow her words.
Is this rabbit too much for you?
You felt her hands trail from your stomach to your chest. "Some privacy, please." She ordered, Heisenberg having already left. The maids and servants left the room, leaving the two of you alone within the main hall. Her hands trailed your body, her hands shaky. "I might never get to see you again. I want to spend this night with you in a way you'll never forget." She whispered. You stayed still, guiding her hands. "Will marry me?" Her words pierced your ears like shattering glass. You looked up, eyes wide. "But what about tomorrow?" You asked, eyes massive and searching her gaze.
Alcina's eyes held genuine strength and affection, holding your right hand. "Then you'll live in my castle, tended to by my daughters until you pass away." She whispered. "I'll marry you, on one condition." You turned to face her completely, "if you promise to live." She pulled you close, her lips just barely a centimeter away. "I'll do my best."
You clung to Lady Dimitrescu as she carried you back to your shared sleeping chambers, laying you down on her bed. Your fingers were intertwined, her two digits in place where yours once were.
You both gave and took, sharing the night like two clawing beasts and yet shared affection. The night was loud, ending with Lady Dimitrescu holding your hands above your head. She maintained eye contact, the two of you panting and out of energy. You could feel just how strong your flesh made her, feeling the quiver of her muscles through her hands, how her body was prepared to maim and fight. "I love you." You breathed out, your grip growing weak.
What have you done to me in the span of a year? You've devoured my heart. If you don't survive tomorrow night, then I'll go down with you, as your loyal rabbit. My dear wolf.
"Marry me tonight, my rabbit."
"I've always been yours, my wolf."
