Finding yourself in the infirmary once again, you couldn't get out of this. You looked to your left arm, finding it sewn back onto you and held up in a cast. Your face hurt so much, half of it was bandaged and your stomach was sewn and bandaged. You could still feel every stitch. You saw a black cloaked figure with a little puppet. The puppet got down from the woman, controlled by strings as she walked up to you. "How are you feeling?" Angie asked, tilting her little puppet head. "Where's my wife?" You asked, mustering out your voice.

Wife?

Angie and the woman looked back at each other, bringing a small smile to your lips. "My dear Alci, where is she?" You took a deep breath, filling your lungs and gently touching the mask with your right hand. "Don't take that off!" Angie squeaked, hands up. You put down your right arm, groaning slightly in pain. "She's in a cell, Cassandra put her there after saving you." Angie explained.

Speak of the Devil.

Cassandra walked in with a note from Lady Dimitrescu, then she handed the note to Donna as she couldn't bear to look at you. Angie walked up to Donna and brought the letter to you, unfolding it for you. You took the letter, reading it.

My dearest (Y/N),
I hate to inform you that I will not be visiting you until you heal. I can't bear to look at what I've done to you. I want you to know that I love you and I have no idea as to what came over me. I hope you make it through this and you forgive me.
With loving regret,
Alci

You put the letter down, lost in thought. Angie picked up a notepad and a pen. "Would you like to return a message?" She asked, her little puppet mouth hanging open in anticipation. "Yes, actually." You sat up a little bit to give your left arm better leverage. "Get your ass over here and kiss me. If you can kiss me without biting my face off, then you sure as hell can cuddle with me." You kept your tone playful, hearing Donna sigh with wonder as to how you could forgive Lady Dimitrescu so quickly. "I know it wasn't you when you attacked me. That wasn't my honey-bunny." You watched as Angie dotted the last period and had you look over the note. With a gentle nod, Angie handed Donna the note. "Would you like Cassandra to send the note?" Angie asked, Donna handing Cassandra the note. "Yes."

You waited for months for Lady Dimitrescu to visit you at the infirmary, it was now October and to say the girls were protective was an understatement. Even Cassandra was protective, which was odd. You couldn't get up to get food, it had to be brought to you and fed to you. You couldn't get up to see Alci, Cassandra wouldn't even let her get within 20 feet of the infirmary door without her stalking the door like a pacing panther. You could only get up to use the bathroom, and even then Cassandra hovered over you.

"You know, you hated me so much, and now you're all over me. I can't go outside, I can't roam the halls, I can't get ice cream because you'll get paranoid over my stitches, I can't this that or the other." You complained, grumbling. "I want to see Alci. Where is she?" You asked, Daniela and Bela sitting beside you. They took off your bandaging they had put on you last night, seeing that the wounds have scarred over and your left arm was functional though you had lost some feeling. "Mother is talking to her therapist right now. She plans on seeing you soon." Bela explained, hearing you scream in frustration. "You always say that! Ever since June, you've said that. But does she visit? No! She never visits! She avoids me like I'm the sun!" You screeched out, tears running down your face. "I want to see Alci!" You ordered, forcing yourself up. Cassandra threw you back down, scowling. "You're in no shape to run around. Your... Your stitches-" "My stitches are all healed, Cassandra. They've been healed since September. I went through physical therapy for my arm too, I got this." You hissed, getting up and taking your first few steps with the blanket wrapped around your shoulders. Daniela ran to your side as you almost fell, your legs weak.

You could feel Cassandra's worried stare, which made you grow stronger with bitterness. "I'm going to see my wife, whether she wants to see me or not." You growled, making your way to the door. You looked in the mirror as you passed by. There was a long scar across your face, multiple scars on your chest, stomach, and right arm. You shook your head, forcing the doors open and making your way to find Lady Dimitrescu.

I will find you. I will hunt you down for that damn kiss. You're not going to run away from me, Alcina Dimitrescu. You're the prey now, and your lips are my target.
