Alcina Dimitrescu laid in her bed, processing what had happened. Her stomach felt as though it were full of butterflies, but cold butterflies. She sat up, thinking. Putting her hat back on, she wandered around the castle. Thinking and trying to put sense to her thoughts, Alcina went to the garden, the sun setting and the air warm.
What month was it now? May? June? It felt like the spring was forever. Soon, the heat of the summer would come and bring a larger production. The village was starting to shift for the better and the population was starting to rise. The moon started to rise, the warm day starting to settle to a comfortable temperature as the night took hold. Lady Dimitrescu went back inside the castle, then made her way to the front. There were a couple of boxes. "What did you get (Y/N)?" She mumbled, picking them up and bringing them to your room. One had multiple fragile warnings, the other very heavy.
(Y/N) wouldn't mind if I opened one.
Extending a claw, she opened the heaviest one. Hoodies, sweaters, stickers, journals, and even a plush animal. She looked at the fragile box, but didn't open it. She closed the heavy box as convincing as possible and went back to her room, looking at the nearly empty bottle on her vanity. The last bottle of her flavor. Lady Dimitrescu poured the wine into a cup, drinking the last of it. The flavor felt stale, bitter, and full of memories. She looked at the bottle, then put it back down, thinking.
The alcohol started to take hold, bringing Lady Dimitrescu to find her nightgown and get changed. She crawled into bed, putting the book on her nightstand. Her hat was on the table with the bottle, then sleep took hold of her.
She felt no dreams wash over her, but her sleep was very deep. Upon morning, she felt the adverse effects of the alcohol create a dull mild pain in her head. Getting into a bath and then getting dressed, she looked around. Your door was open and she could hear her daughters talking and laughing. Coming up to the room, Daniela looked out and closed the door. "Mother's awake, hide the box!" She whispered out. She heard some movement then the door opened.
What are you hiding? Why are you hiding a box?
She looked up at you, seeing that you were still in your nightwear. She looked down to her daughters. They all had a big smile and Bela pushed something under the bed a bit further with her foot. Giving a suspicious glare to everyone, Lady Dimitrescu went down to the main room, watching maids and servants rush to get the day going. She could still feel butterflies in her stomach, her thoughts racing.
"Mother, (Y/N) has something for you. I think you'll like it." Cassandra's voice creeped into the room. Lady Dimitrescu turned to face her daughter, giving a small grin. "Thank you."
