You woke up, eyes wide. You were alone in bed and Alcina wasn't in the room. You got up, carefully hopping to your wheelchair and sitting down, you opened the door, making your way down the hall and carefully going down a ramp. Alcina was standing by the door, talking to a young woman in a Maiden's outfit. You blinked a couple of times, paying attention to Alcina's body language as jealousy began to rise. "Oh! (Y/N)! This is the new recruit, her name is Eclipse. She will be starting training." Alcina's body language went from professional to warm, a near instantaneous shift. The woman waved hello, smiling. You waved back, then looked up at Alcina. "She's going to be your aid for when I can't help you. Wine production will be skyrocketing and I need to make sure orders are fulfilled." Alcina gave you a kiss, happiness filling your chest.

No need to be jealous, she's just your aid... Where's Mia?

You looked around, noticing no sign of Mia. "So, Eclipse..." You began, mind trailing off. "Where are you from?" You looked back to Eclipse, seeing her focused. "I'm from the village. I was from the village, I grew up in a nearby town." She began, gently taking the handles of your wheelchair and taking you to wherever you needed to go.

You noticed Eclipse looking out a window, then keeping you away from it. "What's wrong?" You asked, trying to get a peak. "Nothing. The uh... The ramps aren't out right now and I don't want to risk breaking your wheelchair." Eclipse explained, giving a small smile. You nodded, a little confused but understood. You continued your day, asking Eclipse questions. When you got back to your room by the end of the day, you told Eclipse goodbye and saw Alcina laying on the bed with a book. "Did you enjoy spending time with your friend?" She asked, looking up. "I did! Please don't kill this one, she's great." You brought your chair to the bed, lifting yourself up and putting yourself on the bed. "What all did you talk about?"

You looked over, beginning to talk. "We just talked about life in the castle, she said she heard about the wedding since it was in the newspaper and it was still the buzz of the village. Oh! Did you know, the village now has some stores from the city and they're going to be opening up hotels for tourists!" You chirped, laying against Alcina. "That's great!" She gave you a smile, the thought of foreigners to be entertained. "So you like Ecplise?" She asked, putting her book down. "Yeah, she's cool. She told me that she doesn't want to impede on the relationship and wants to be of service. Bela seems to a little shy around her, so I hope good things happen!" You rolled over, laying your head on Alcina's stomach. "Also, would you happen to know where Mia is? I haven't seen her since last night." You saw Alcina's smile turn to an anxious glance.

Did you devour her?

"Did you...?" You tilted your head, curious. Alcina took a deep sigh and nodded. "I had to. I was feeling my urge for flesh, but Mia came in just on time and gave me consent to devour her. But, she ran to the courtyard and that's where I ate her, on the full moon no less." Alcina admitted. You nodded, sighing a little. "Her sacrifice will not be in vain."

Why didn't you just eat me instead?
