Chapter 66

You got Alcina ready to bed, she had little to no energy to continue the night. You, on the other hand, walked around and got used to your new prosthetic. It was a comfortable fit, but started to ache after an hour. You had to get used to using a prosthetic leg. Making your way back, you stopped in the hallway after hearing a soft voice. You didn't recognize the voice as other maids, Alcina, Bela, Daniela, nor Cassandra. You slipped into the room quickly, getting ready to sleep and snuggling into Alcina's arms.

You could feel Alcina fidget in her sleep, at one point her nails had begun to dig into your arm, waking you up from a dead sleep. Going back to sleep after she relaxed her grip, you could hear her give a soft whimper just before slipping into sleep.

When the morning came, Daniela had came into the room with something chained just outside the doorway. "Mother! Mother I found an intruder!" She squealed, waking both you and her up in a panic. Alcina's nails that had been digging in you slashed at your arm when she jumped to consciousness. You gripped your scar, hissing in pain. Daniela jumped a little bit upon seeing the wound. You applied a cloth, grimacing in pain. "Don't worry about me, what about this intruder?" You asked, gently swatting Alcina away for her to deal with the intruder. "A woman known as Mia. She came looking for Ethan Winters and (Y/N) (L/N)." Daniela explained, pulling the chain.

"I think she- Mia?" You applied a bit of alcohol to your wound and bandaged your upper arm. You looked up in confusion, eyes wide. "Oh no no no! I want nothing to do with her. Alci, do whatever you like." You got up, walking away from the door. "Now hold on, why does Mia want to know about their location?" Alcina asked, looking at you in confusion.

You rolled your eyes upon hearing Mia. "(Y/N)? Is that you?" You turned around, making eye contact with her. "You're still alive!" She gleefully cried out, smiling. "Yeah, though I would much prefer that you didn't know that. Who told you I was here anyways?" You asked, grumbling a little. "Your mother told me that she found you after her trip here! She said you were living here and possibly getting married soon!" Mia explained, then frowned a little. "I'm sorry about that New Years. I know you don't want to see me, but I need to know, will you come back to America with me?" She asked, almost pleading.

Eyeing Mia up and down, meeting her gaze and giving a soft scoff. "You don't get to ask me to come back to America and you especially don't get to ask me to return to you." You hissed, crossing your arms. "I am getting married in a few months and I enjoy being here. I'm not leaving this place, I'm not leaving Alcina." You threw your hands in the air, furious. "Especially since you were the one using me!" You looked up at Daniela, ignoring Mia. "Release her outside. I have no time to give out punishment." Alcina spoke up, Daniela giving a small nod.

"No, please! (Y/N)! Please! Bad things will happen!" Mia tried to explain, Daniela dragging her away.
