Daniela wondered why you pulled her from the castle just as the sun was setting to go to the village. She sat in the carriage, watching you go over your money and then look up. "You're going to help me prepare for Alci's birthday." You smiled a little, catching Daniela off guard. "And what did mother say about you leaving the castle?" Daniela asked, folding her arms.

She's going to throw a fit if she finds out you snuck out of her supervision. The last thing she wants you to get is an infection for being stupid.

"I told her I wanted to go see my family at the village. She told me to bring you along and to call every hour." You explained, holding up your phone. Daniela gave a small grin. "It's a Monday and tomorrow is her birthday. You sneaky sneaker." Daniela felt the carriage stop and the door opened. Climbing out and aiding you with climbing out, the two of you began to shop.

Cake, candles, jewelry, precious stones. Daniela helped you pick out what Alcina Dimitrescu preferred, but caught you staring at the rings. "Do you plan on marrying my mother?" Daniela asked, looking over to you.

Please say yes. You'd be a cool parent.

"I have. I just don't know when to ask and I don't want to move so quickly. Hell, I don't want her to think I'll die on her in minutes because I'm reckless." You looked over, giving a pitiful grin. "I want to make the timing right. I want to propose during a Super Moon, preferably a harvest or pink moon." You explained, looking at the ring with a beautiful heart-shaped ruby surrounded by black and white opals. Daniela eyed the ring too, then placed the order for it in her mother's ring size in platinum.

I want you to get her the best ring.

She looked up from the jeweler, looking at you. She saw your jaw hang open in awe and shock. "Close your mouth, prey won't jump in on it's own." She laughed, watching you close your mouth. "You didn't have to do this." You sounded shocked and out of breath. "You bought my mother a cake, a platinum necklace with the highest quality sapphires, earrings made of black prince opals, designer lipstick, and... Ew... Sex toys. Let me do this for you for my mother." Daniela explained, watching your face turn red with blush.

As the ring was adjusted, Daniela handed you the velvety box, then you both returned to the castle. While Lady Dimitrescu slept, the two of you prepped the castle with the help of the maids.

Tomorrow, mother will be ecstatic.
