Donna stared at you, huddled in the corner. Mother Miranda had dropped you off at her manor without much word and yet she hadn't moved from her corner. Her heart ached to be closer to you, but she feared possibly hurting you. When you finally awoken, you jolted and looked around. Your expression changed from fear to mild annoyance. "I'm back here?" You asked, making eye contact. "You'll be staying with Miss Beneviento for a while. She is awfully lonely and Lady Dimitrescu can't keep you all for yourself." A voice came in from behind you. Donna turned her gaze to above you, quickly looking away from Mother Miranda. "Like hell I'm staying here. No offense, Donna, but dolls creep me out." Your words were harsh, leading to an argument. Donna sat in the corner in fear. "Lady Dimitrescu will follow my orders if I tell her to do so. If I want Salvatore to drown you, it will happen." Mother Miranda's voice echoed in the manor, scaring Donna. "You are to do as you are told. I don't care if you like it or not, you have been nothing more than a pest, you wily hare. First you poison Lady Dimitrescu against me, and yet now, I have you right where I want you." Mother Miranda had a hand around your throat, causing Donna to hide her face. She used the pollen to hide what was being said, but part of her continued to listen.

Please don't hurt (Y/N) because of my feelings...

Escaping from Mother Miranda's grip, Donna scooted away as you ran towards a window, opening it and letting out a scream at the top of your lungs. You were forced back to the floor, pinned under Mother Miranda's weight. Donna shivered, hearing Mother Miranda whisper in your ear. "Stay quiet, vermin. Alcina can't hear you. Scream again and I will break you." Donna didn't know what to do, but hoped you wouldn't scream. "Fuck you." Were your only words before you were struck upside the head. Luckily, Donna was able to crawl over to you just as Mother Miranda left instructions. Take care of you and don't let Lady Dimitrescu find you. Donna felt sick to her stomach, but took care of your wounds after closing the window.

Donna carried you to a spare bedroom, monitoring you. You didn't stir much, but you were breathing. It wasn't until she heard crashing and the sound of glass shattering that she went back to the room. You had barricaded the door. Donna started to panic. The one person she loves and managed to have in her home was already trying to escape. She ran outside, tackling you. "You can't let you leave!" Donna felt desperation as you kicked and fought like an animal. Letting out another scream at the top of your lungs, Donna slammed her fist into your gut and dragged you back inside. "I can't let you leave. Do you have any sense of self-preservation? Do you realize how much danger you are in if you leave?" Donna asked, pinning you down on her floor. "I don't care! I need to find Alci!" You snapped, trying to wrestle Donna off. "You can't have Lady Dimitrescu!" Donna managed to keep you pinned, taking a deep breath. "And why is that?" You hissed, panting from trying to wrestle her off.

"Because I love you."

And I know you don't feel the same. I wish I was Lady Dimitrescu, so I can have your affections. But for now, can you please try?

"You'll never be able to replace Alci."
