It had been months since your passing, Estella turned 7, her birthday was lonely without you. Alcina, her mother, let her have a handful of friends stay the night for her birthday. They were from when she was in France. It's not the same without you. She quietly blew out the candle, Daniela and Bela trying to cheer her up while Cassandra stayed quiet at the other end of the table, giving a small smile when Eclipse gave her a kiss on the cheek. How can we be happy when you're not here?

Estella sat in a circle in Daniela's room, having the most space and given permission to hang out in there, if they didn't mind the smell of smoke. Estella didn't really talk, but when on the subject of monsters, Estella perked up a little bit.

"Do you know of any monsters, especially since you live all the way out here?" One of Estella's friends chirped. "My mom is a monster. She killed and ate my biological parents and ate her spouse. I watched her kill." Estella chirped, seeing their smiles turn to fear. "Wait, your mom is a monster?" The same friend asked. "Yeah! So are my sisters. They're vampires!" Estella pointed to her teeth, grinning. "They have fangs, if you hadn't noticed. They said once these teeth fall out and grow back in, they'll turn me into a vampire if I want." Estella purred. Maybe if you were a vampire, you would be here for my birthday.

Estella grinned as Alcina peaked into the room, her amber eyes large and frightening. You all are scared, I learned to be brave. I live amongst lycans and vampires while you live amongst other humans. She could hear her mother give a playful giggle, your giggle a mere echo.

At night, Estella brought you a bouquet of flowers and swiped away snow off your plaque. "Hey, (Y/N)." She quietly spoke. "I know you probably can't hear me, but please... Please give me a sign that you're here for me. I need you now more than ever." Estella whispered, placing the flowers down. Almost as though her prayers had been heard, a little bunny hopped out of the bushes, nose twitching and ears perked. Estella gently reached out, petting the bunny. "It is you..." She whispered.
