Daniela felt anger rise in her, she understood that her mother had urges that she couldn't help, but to go after someone she genuinely liked? That was irritating. She pulled Eclipse into her room, putting on cartoons and watching while feeling her anger continue.

Mother should know better than to attack my friends. She's been a vampire for so long, she could handle her tendencies. Why now is she acting up?

Daniela felt a hand on hers, looking down to Eclipse. "She can't help it." Daniela listened to Eclipse's words, giving a soft sigh. "Do you think it's because of (Y/N)?" Daniela asked, thinking.

Was this what Mother Miranda had tried to warn her about? This why she tried to take (Y/N) away?

Daniela felt anger bristle through her again, forcing herself up and looking for her sisters. Eclipse followed behind, whispering to you as they passed by. Daniela heard you follow after them, finally finding Cassandra and Bela. "What's wrong, Daniela?" Bela piped up, putting her book down. "We need to talk about mother. Now."

Daniela made sure all the doors were closed and nobody was listening in. "Mother attacked Eclipse last night and another maid went missing. This has been happening almost every night." Daniela explained. "The maidens are afraid to wander at night because of the attacks. They're terrified to be cleaning during the day. One of the maids spoke to Alcina today and I saw the way she looked at us. She looked like she was ready to pounce." Eclipse explained. Daniela nodded, catching your gaze.

Don't look so guilty, Mother Miranda knew this would happen, and yet she wanted you all to herself like Donna.

Daniela heard Cassandra speak up. "Tonight, I'll go hunting with mother. I'm sure she would love to get out all that energy." Daniela nodded to Cassandra's offer. Daniela looked over to you, seeing your saddened gaze. "And during the winter?" You whimpered softly. "You can go hunting with her." Daniela suggested. You nodded, giving a small smile.

I'm worried that your days are going to be numbered, (Y/N). We need to keep you safe.

As the day continued, Daniela noticed that another maid went missing, but no sight of a mess. That night, Cassandra took their mother out hunting, a schedule to follow for months.

Less maids went missing and Estella chose to stay at Castle Dimitrescu, but she noticed that the parents went missing after just going out the door, their car still at the end of the road.

Looking for where they went, Daniela made eye contact with her mother, hiding in a room while crushing a bone between her powerful jaws. Daniela stared, she felt hungry but knew better than to take a part of the flesh. The bodies were effortlessly drained of their blood and their flesh split in several places.

You're consuming your daughter's parents and yet, somehow, you're crying.

Daniela remembered her dream, eyes going wide. The bent and broken rusted bars, the sea of blood.

"You're trying to not kill (Y/N), aren't you?"

I feel like this series will be coming to a close soon. I have tried to map out how to get this to 250 chapters, but I only have so much to work with. I have a feeling this will only make it to 120-150, and so I'll try to add as much as I can. If you have any suggestions for what you want to see towards the ending and I'll try to push it towards a full 200 chapters. I'm sorry if you guys wanted a longer book and a book for Arc 3, but that arc will be starting next chapter. Have the cover for Arc 3, Bleached Bones.

I'm sorry if this is a disappointing for you all, but I hope you enjoy the ending when it arrives
