It's been five years since your passing, Cassandra's mood through the years had been slowly lifting, walking around the cottage as she pondered. She was now married to Eclipse, remembering their day of the wedding, hosting in the courtyard so you could still be a part of the wondrous event. I hope you were watching, (Y/N). Cassandra remembered seeing a rabbit hiding in the bushes, giving a sigh of happiness.
Cassandra made sure to inform Eclipse of when she was going to go out hunting, a family tradition was started to never hunt down rabbits. She brought back deer, fish, and horses for dinner. She enjoyed living out in the cottage, given to her by her mother. Cassandra kept a little rabbit plant holder on the window ledge, checking in and talking to the plant about her days plans. (Y/N), I hope you're watching over mother. She needs you now more than ever.
As Cassandra continued through her day, helping Eclipse prepare for tonight. They still had deer meat left over and some vegetables from the garden. As Cassandra went back into the room and checked on her plant, the once group of sprouts had become blooming carnations. Cassandra felt tears run down her face, sobbing with joy. You had been there for the wedding, you were always watching.
Sitting down for dinner, Cassandra gently held Eclipse's hand, smiling. She was happy to have found the one and she was happy to have them in her arms every night. Venison steaks were always considered a delicacy, it was sometimes hard to get the perfect deer, but last night was a lucky hunt.
As Cassandra snuggled up with Eclipse, she looked up at the moon, smiling as she fell asleep. Thank you.
