You gently put your hand out, Lady Dimitrescu stumbling to you and falling to her knees. As you moved your leg, she wrapped her arms around you and fall over. You were pinned under Alcina, her breathing shallow.

She's so exhausted. I can't breathe, but she needs this.

You managed to breathe a little, but it was hard. She was asleep on you, the cold stone floor never felt so comfortable before for you. You both fell asleep as the day began and villagers began to realize what had happened. Mother Miranda was officially dead and Donna was going to answer for what she partook in soon enough.

You slowly got up as you felt Alcina shift and get up. You could see her better, now that your eyes had adjusted. She looked like hell, blood and rubble clung to her and her dress. Alcina helped you up, your first action after being picked up was to hug her. You enjoyed being back in her arms, gently running your fingers through her hair. Her hair was silky still, having retained it's texture after everything that happened. "Let's get you in a wheelchair, you need to be able to get around the castle." Alcina gave you a smile, kissing you on your forehead.

Please don't put me down. I want to be in your arms a little longer. I almost just lost you.

It was not your intention to race down the hallways in a wheelchair, but Daniela enjoyed running around with you. "Daniela! You need to be careful!" You hissed, clinging to the chair. "Just one more lap." Daniela pleaded, eyes wide. "Just one more lap, but after that I want to see Alci." You glared at Daniela, screaming as she bolted around the castle with you. It wasn't until Cassandra stopped her while halfway around that Daniela got scared. "No more racing around. (Y/N) is an amputee, not a racecar. Take (Y/N) back to mother before she gets worried that you dropped them down the stairs!" Cassandra snapped, pushing her away. "Or I'll just do it myself. You need to let our future parent relax." Cassandra hissed, being more careful with you.

You could feel pity washing over from Cassandra. "Don't pity me. I gave her my leg because she needed it. After the swelling goes down, I'll have my prosthetic." You grumbled, resting your head in your hand. "You did something brave, (Y/N). You gave up a part of yourself to give to my mother." Cassandra spoke softly, then sighed. "I can't wait for when the two of you get married. You're my soon-to-be parent and her fiance. I bet mother is going to go all-out, she always wanted a big wedding!" Cassandra continued to talk about possible wedding ideas.

You, on the other hand, were getting nervous. Who was she going to be with after you passed? What if she gets bored of you? What if the wedding isn't to her liking?

You looked up at Alicia's bedroom door, Cassandra opening the door and bringing you inside. She had just finished handing out punishment and was waiting for you. "Sorry mother, Daniela was running around with (Y/N), but I brought them back to you." Cassandra then left at the motion of the hand. "My dear rabbit, it's nice to see you." She looked at you through the mirror.

Am I in trouble?

"Do I scare you now?" She asked, her expression turning to mild discontent.

"No."

But, I'm even more deeply in love with you.
