it's been about a week since i met josh. we text a lot and facetime at least once a day. he's really funny and knows how to make me laugh. today we are hanging out. i'm kinda nervous because i've never really hung out with a friend. i get ready and try to dress like a normal teen. jeans and a black crop top. good right? i decided to keep my dads money a secret. i don't want him thinking i'm daddy's little rich bitch. ya know? so today i'm taking the most normal car we have. the white jeep. it's the least expensive one we have. i drive to the one park where him and i are meeting. once i arrive, i walk around til i spot him.
you: hey
josh: hey. you look pretty
here goes me blushing again. we walk around talking. he did not fail in making me laugh and smile.
josh: why don't you come over for dinner? that is- if your not doing anything?
dinner with josh will be so much better than eating alone.
you: ya sure
after about an hour we head to his house where his family is all sitting. josh tells me to take a seat next to him and i do.
you: this is delicious. thank you mrs richards
she nods. after the dinner, josh and i are sitting outside in the porch swing.
you: so- you guys eat dinner every night- together?
josh: ya pretty much
you: it's nice
josh: why?
you: i normally just eat alone. my dads always working.
josh: and your mom?
you: i- she um passed away when i was little
josh: i'm sorry- i shouldn't have asked
you: your good. you couldn't have known
josh: well if you ever wanna be not alone for dinner or any meal- your always welcome here
you: thanks
we hug for a moment. this was the first time we've hugged and i don't wanna let go. i feel so safe and wanted in his arms. plus, he smells really really good.
you: i should be heading back home
josh: ok. i'll text you later?
i nod and walk to my car.
