josh: i love the beach
we step off the bud and into the warm air
addison: we live in miami. you can go to the beach whenever you feel like it
josh rolls his eyes.
you: move your fat head
i'm walking behind josh and since i'm only 5 foot and he's 6 foot, he's in my way. i reach up pushing the back of his head.
josh: hey- who's carrying your bag? oh right me.
you: well move
i nudge him to the side and go stand next to mads and avani.
mads: what's wrong with you and josh
you: 11 fucking hours on that bud is what's wrong
avani: i know. i sat behind bryce most of the time and i swear the kid shit his pants
you; i'm not surprised- i mean it's bryce. come on
we all laugh and go in the resort. it's beautiful. the boys go get the keys for our friend group and bring them to us. of course josh has mine and is holding it high over his head where i can't even come close to reaching.
you: dammit josh just gimme it
amelie: i've got one bae
you: well we need this one too
josh just laughs.
josh: nah. i gotta keep this for when mads and jaden are fucking and i gotta go somewhere
bryce snatches the key outta josh's hand and gives it to me.
you: thanks
josh: fuck off dude
amelie and i go find out room.
you: what bed do you want
amelie: this one. farthest away from the window
i laugh and put my phone and sit in my bed before going to the door. i let josh in.
josh: i'm not your butler
you: well i don't have jack to carry my bag so your the best it's gonna get
i'm not trying to sound like a brat that needs a butler. it's just how josh and i joke.
you: plus no one else is as strong as you
the thing with josh is- he has a huge ego. you tell him he's pretty- he believes it. you tell him he's strong- he believes it. he flexes and sets my bag on my bed.
you; thanks. bye
i push him out the door.
amelie: are you sure your over him?
you: yes. completely
amelie: well you guys just like got super close again one day.
i sigh a bit. she's my bestfriend. i should tel her.
you: so i'm remember how i said logan's dad got a new job offer? that's why they moved?
she nods.
you: it was a lie. logan and i- we were never really dating. it was just something to make josh jealous
amelie: does josh know that's what it was?
i nod.
you: um at bryce's party- logan had put something in my drink and he was- trying to have sex with me. luckily josh found me before he could do anything and got me out of there. then we told my dad. he fired logan's dad. then they moved back to texas
she hugs me.
amelie: i'm so sorry that happened to you
you: it's alright. after that- i forgave josh. i mean- how could i not?
