logan and i have been hanging out nonstop. we've hung out with my friends too a few times over these past 2 weeks. i haven't really seen much of josh though. i'm starting to feel bad about this fake dating thing. i know he's real dating nessa which hurt me but this being fake? it seems kinda cruel. but we're still doing it ig.
amelie: what are you doing tonight?
you: i don't think anything
amelie: cool. you can sleepover
you: alright.
later after school logan and i go into the house laughing. our dads have been working constantly and we've barely seen them. but right now they're sitting at the counter drinking their beers.
dad: hey! *laughs
you: hey dad
caden: why don't we all have dinner tonight? we took the night off
logan and i obviously say yes, at the fact we barely see them. i text amelie and say sorry, but cancel on her.

steven made fettuccine alfredo with garlic bread. damn it's good.
caden: hey hey remember when jennifer spilt wine all over the carpet and blamed me? you didn't speak to me for weeks
our dads laugh. jennifer was my mom.
dad: it was a ten thousand dollar while carpet!
they once again laugh.
...
it's been nearly 20 minutes and now they're arguing. i'm not sure what it's about.
caden: you started it!
dad: you were the one that left when she died!
they both stormed away from the table leaving me and logan sitting here.
logan: what the hell just happened?
you: ion know. one minute they're laughing their asses off and the next-
logan: they're yelling
i nod. the rest of that night logan and i chilled on the couch while our fathers yelled at eachother in another room.
