i'm telling her. i'm telling kate today. i invited her over for dinner. obviously brookes gonna eat with us but when she goes to bed that's when i'll tell kaye how i feel. sounds good. everything just needs to go smooth.

josh: brooke mommy is coming over for dinner tonight
brooke: yay!!
i send her to her room to go change whole i go into my room. i gotta try to look good but also casual ya know? i wear white ripped jeans with a grey and purple flannel. partially unbuttoned of course. after fixing my chain, ruffling my hair, and brushing my teeth, the doorbell rang.

josh: hey katelyn
katelyn: hey josh. where's brooke?
brooke comes running down the stairs.
brooke: mommy!
kate hugs her and we all go into the dining room where steven has just placed all the food onto the table.
josh: thanks
we sit down and begin to eat.

about 2-3 hours later after eating and hanging out with brooke, i put her to bed. now is time.
katelyn: well i'm gonna go. i'll see you-
josh: no! wait!
she looks at me confused.
josh: i have to tell you something
she slightly nods and we sit on the couch.
josh: kate i um... i- i love you. i'm not drunk or anything this time. i mean it
katelyn: i'll always love you too but your with jess
josh: no. i'm not. we broke it off. well- i broke it off. i wanna be with you more than anything. your all that's on my mind at all times. once you got back it fucked me up. i wasn't sure of anything anymore. but i know now. i want you kate. i want you to move in here and be with me and brooke. i want us to get back together.
she doesn't say anything. oh god. she doesn't want the same. what the fuck josh?! why did i even do this?!
katelyn: j
she looks up at me.
katelyn: if your really willing to give me another chance- of course i'll take it
i smile relieved and lean in and kiss her. god it just feels so right.
