ahh today's the day. the day i'm finally an adult. i wake up and shower to feel clean. then, i do my skin care and makeup while letting my hair air dry. i tooo about an hour to pick out a cute outfit for the day because my friends already told me they had something planned. i ended up with something simple, but cute.

i did loose beach wave curls in my hair and brushed it out to be a bit messy before heading downstairs to be greeted by steven and carmen.
steven: chocolate chip pancakes and a chocolate milkshake
he's made me the same breakfast on this exact day for 14 years and i love it. after i eat, they give me their gifts to me and i thank them. i told them not to get me anything but they did anyway. then the doorbell rings.
you: that must be josh. he's taking me to see dad. i'll be home sometime tonight carmen: have fun!
i walk out the door and josh kisses me. not our usual small hello kiss, but a good passionate one.
josh: happy birthday baby you: thank you
i mess up his hair then he has to 'fix it'.
josh: ready? you: yup
we get in his car.
josh: you look very beautiful as always
his hand rests on my thigh as he focuses on the road.
you: thank you *giggles josh: so. i hope you don't have plans for today you: nope josh: good. because after we go to the hospital, we're heading to anthony's so they can all see you. later for dinner i'm taking you out. then for dessert... *smirks you: hmm i'm excited for this dessert josh *laughs
he looks at me and licks his lips a bit making me laugh.

i laugh and go get the bag. i open it up to see a purse. i pull it out and smile. it's prada so it's obviously expensive.
you: thanks dad i love it
i lean over him and hug him

they all had wished me a happy birthday and given me gifts. now josh are on our way to dinner.
josh: how's it feel to be 18 you: not different *laughs josh: it will. trust me *laughs you: so. where are we going j? josh: well i know you don't like fancy... so just hard rock cafe. i know you love their nachos you: yes!!!
he laughs.
josh: ah so my family is gone tonight. meaning... we can go to my house after you: mmm i can't wait

after we eat, waiters come out singing and josh does his evil little smirk.
you: oh fuck you josh
i hate being the center of attention like this. especially when people sing happy birthday to me. it's awkward. like what and i supposed to do??? they bring a brownie with icecream. i blow out the candle before josh and i eat it.
josh: here... is your present
he reaches into his pocket then hands me a small box. i open it to find a beautiful necklace. engraved on it, was "i love fucking you. i mean- i fucking love you" i laugh. ok the other side, both of our names were engraved.
josh: it's not much but- your hard to shop for you: it's cute josh. i love it *laughs josh: it's true and i thought it'd make you laugh you: thank you babe
he smiles as i reach around my neck putting it on.
