it's weird to say that i'm 18 soon and have never had a sleepover. but no one needs to know that. addison invited me to stay the night at her house with her and mads. of course i said yes. what do you do at a sleepover? no clue. i'm getting ready to go when addison texts me. she says we are going to dinner downtown with the boys then going shopping. knowing that josh is gonna be there makes me feel a bit better. he just makes me feel comfortable. apparently it's some nice restaurant so i gotta dress nice. we're probably taking instagram pictures anyway. i put on this skin tight short white dress with thin spaghetti straps. i curl my hair and put on a pair of my favorite white stilettos. why are we dressing up this much? for fun. and the boys hate dressing up so it'll be funny. i grab my purse and head out to the jeep. i hate driving this thing but i won't drive my favorite car (the mustang) around them. once i arrive at addisons, they're all out front waiting for me. i get out of the car and lock eyes with josh. his jaw fucking drops and his eyes go wide.
you: hey addison: your stunning! you: me? look at you two!
anthony hits josh and he snaps out of it.
josh: you- you look really pretty mads: pretty? are you blind josh?! she's fucking hot!
i laugh and josh nods, agreeing with mads. his action makes me blush a bit. we get into two separate cars. the girls and i in one, and the boys in another. there's two girls i hadn't met before with us. avani and amelie. they're both so sweet. we arrive at dinner and get a table. i'm next to josh since i'm closest with him. on the other side of me is amelie. josh and i are deep into our conversation. it's about random shit.
amelie: this food is really good bryce: ya it is
once we go to pay, addison was gonna pay for it all.
you: i've got it. addison: it's good. i got it
i shake my head no and open my purse. the bill was around 200 dollars so i reach for my stack of hundreds without them all seeing and pull out 2 of them, and a twenty. i always keep a lotta money on me in case of emergencies.
jaden: damn you keep all that with you? you: for emergencies *laughs
after eating, we are walking around downtown trying to find a good spot for pictures. avani and i are having our own conversation. she's really good at makeup.
you: what palette did you use? avani: i usually just use the james charles palette. basic but it's good you: i have it but i suck at doing my makeup. you should do mine one time avani: of course!
we continue to talk as i feel josh link his hand with mine. i look over at him. he is talking to bryce and acting like he doesn't know we're holding hands. i smile and go back to speaking with avani. finally we stop in front of the ocean on the boardwalk and take pictures. i take some with the girls. then one with josh. we were trying to take a good picture but he sneezed in the middle of it, making me laugh.
