it's my day off. the whole company is closed today because there is a stomach bug going down and tons of people have gotten it already. so, i sent everyone home and went home myself. brooke is with katelyn today. i'm bored out of my mind. i haven't seen jess in a while.

i throw a shirt on and head outside sitting on the back porch. i get a facetime and i get confused, but answer.
katelyn: she wanted to call you
brooke: hi daddy!
i softly laugh as i speak.
josh: hey munchkin
brooke: what are you doing
josh: waiting for jess
brooke: oh.
i hear jess's car pull up.
josh: we'll go spend time with mommy. i'll see you tomorrow princess
brooke blows me a kiss and i hang up heading inside to meet jess.
jess: hello
josh: hey babe
i peck her lips then we get drinks before going to the back patio.
jess: so you said brooke is with katelyn? how often does she go with her?
josh: once a week. i. just worried she's gonna ask to go with her more. whenever she comes home she's always like "mommy let me do this it was so fun"
jess: oh stop josh. she loves you more than anyone. you raised her and were here for her.
i lean over and kiss her.

we went swimming for a bit then inside to eat. carmen and steven had the day off, so jess cooked.
jess: we should really start thinking of a date and planning
josh: ughhhhhhh i hate that stuff
jess: that's part of having a wedding *laughs
josh: it's so many decisions. like what colors or what tux. the only part i won't mind- is deciding on a cake
jess: i knew you'd like that part
she playfully rolls her eyes.
jess: ok today we should at least think of a budget
josh: no budget. we're all good. spend as much as you need to make it how you want. i've got the money handled.
jess: are you sure? it doesn't have to be anything big
josh: whatever you want, i'm okay with.
i kiss her cheek.
jess: aww i love you
josh: i love you too babe
i kiss her but it turns into more.

jess in now sleeping next to me after what we just did. it was great but i cannot stop thinking about kate. the whole time we were having sex, she was on my mind. things like when she used to touch me or when she used to kiss me. god i miss those times. the way she could make me feel- lovingly and sexually. but i have jess now. and i'm happy... i think...
