Chapter 39: fellings

I'm sad as the day is here to Barry my grandpa. Hey rain chase said are you okay he asked yes I'm okay I sniffed. The casket is closed and we started the service for my grandpa so many stories are being shared it's a mixture of laughter and tears it's my turn to talk I asked Ryder to be with me because my emotions are all over the roof. I did my speech and then we went to the adventure bay cemetery to Barry my grandpa. It was sad as it usually was. But the pups are with me every step of the way after all I'm still sad I'm okay with all of my friends and family even my adventure bay family beside me and around me. After the service we arrived at the celebration of life. Pictures are everywhere. I'm glad you're doing well chase smiled your doing well. Thank you chase the day went on and everyone is celebrating witch was amazing I appreciate all of you I said thank you for your support and love I'm honestly so lucky that adventure bay is my home. After the celebration was over we headed back to the lookout and took some down time we needed that. And we called off any missions for the time being so we can  regroup. I'm crying it's not really easy to get over a death of a loved one. Chase is sad for me grieving is hard he told me you'll miss him he smiled and he puts his paw into my heart you have him in here or your heart. Aw thanks chase I smiled as I hugged him close.anytime he smiled as he hugged me back.  Ryder is doing well he is sad but happy he loved my grandpa like I did. So we can definitely start fresh. Skye is in line to get brushed first .all the others are in line I lift Skye onto my lap and brushed her fur all over . Skye is in her element when I brush her she was quite until I herd her yep. Are you okay Skye? I asked yes it was a knot you pulled that's all. I'm so sorry Skye it's okay she smiled at me and I went on brushing her. She is done so I moved on to chase  who was thinking as I brushed his fur I smiled a Tim smile and went back to brushing his fur. Honestly I'm at my lowest point in my life . I started to cry. Chase is sad so he licked my cheeks to clean my tears. I held him close to me as I cried more Rain he said it's.. he was cut off  my crying. I was  still sad  but not crying this time because I'm out of tears to cry. I'm glad you're okay chase smiled. Yea I'm sorry I admitted to him you didn't need to see me like I was. Oh it's fine you need to get those emotions out it's better than holding them in. You're right chase thank you for  the advice. Anytime he chuckles. I went back to brushing chase and I'm in my element as I have been since doing Skye. Next was Zuma he smiled as the brush went  over his brown fur. I'm at peace. I was thinking about everything going on with the past week of the funeral. But let's face it I have the best group of pups to help me with my problems if any. I'm glad to be apart of the paw patrol and finely i took a look at Ryder. I smiled he smiles back. I have a caring boyfriend to round-out my life. It was nighttime I went over to see the pups before going to bed. They were talking about the day and thinking about everything going on. I'm glad you're doing well chase said you're important to us as we love you. Back at all of you. I smiled as I walked to the lookout door. I'm going to sleep slowly as Ryder came in and came in my bed. He smiled and kissed my head as he got into his side of the bed and puts his arm around me. I single into Ryder's side and fell asleep and the next morning was so much better for me as I woke up and saw the pups who are doing three own things. How did you sleep? Chase asked me as he saw me come over to check on me I slept well. Good chase smiles. And sites with me his face in my lap I just smiled at him. He was at peace with me he sits up and puts his paws on my lags. I lift him up and gave him a hug. After an hour of hugging chase broke the awkwardness and asked me something. Private. Gotta he smiled. Well well. Copycat smiled an evil smile what do we have here? Chase!! I yelled look at who's back copycat! I'm back. Surprised?  Not really you have caused so much trouble give up now. I'm making a mark. Copycat has Marshall tied up in a cell he was scared and in pan. What did you do with Marshall? You care about this dumb pup. Marshall whipped he hated the word dumb. Noo Marshall! Yell we have to free him I'll get Ryder. I've never been so mad in my life. I called Marshall are you okay? Not really you have to come fast or I'm done for hurry. On my Marshall. Copycat slaps Marshall your week he said you will never survive. Yes I will and my friends will rescue me. Back at the lookout we are going to stop copycat one and for all and rescue Marshall. I'm looking for Marshall while the others stop copycat Marshall I whisper shout so copycat can't her me. Rain is that you Marshall asked in a week tone it's me buddy just hang in there I'm getting you out okay. He smiled I got it he warbles into my hands tears flowing down I... he said it's okay I'm here and with that he passed out in my hands. Marshall I said. Chase I said as I call him Marshall passed out and I need to fight copycat can you please watch Marshall? You got it rain. He ran into the room with the cell and bedside it was a passed out Marshall chase smiled and said go I can handle it from here thanks. I met up with the others to stop copycat we are doing well I'm still worried about Marshall. Chase was shocked to see his brother like he was there is a gash on his lip and his paw was hurt and his cheek where copycat slapped his face. Please don't leave me Marshall chase sobbed I care about you. Chase puts his head onto Marshall's head and sobs hard. After copycat was defeated. We went to the room where Marshall was Marshall Skye chocked tears no place don't go she was crying hard. What are you we going to do Ryder? Zuma asked looking at Marshall we're talking him to the lookout to care for him and give him test we can go to my clinic I suggested yes that would be better okay Ryder smiled he smiled as we picked up Marshall and put him on a stretcher I will ride with Marshall and I'll meet you at the clinic. It was quite as we rode into town and to my clinic. I got Marshall settled in and I popped his lip back into place. I sighed as I put an oxygen mask over his mouth I cried as I saw Marshall he was. Not his smiling self he looks like a ghost. Ryder came in to see Marshall and me I fell asleep beside Ryder. I love you he smiled back at you hon. And we are sleeping.
