Rue's POV

"Do you really have to go?" Peter frowned, as I pressed my chest and the suit tightened around my body.

"You want your new suit don't you?" I chuckled and put the mask on. "I'm just gonna swing around town for a couple of hours and then pick up the suit. It may take a little longer cause they moved out of the avengers tower and to some other facility," I explained and lifted the hood up.

"They did?" Peter asked. He was laying in his bed, I had been sleeping in every day for a week now.

"Yeah, don't know why," I slid the window up and said goodbye to Peter, before crawling out on the wall under. I swung into where all the stuff usually happened, but for the first hour absolutely nothing happened. Which was good, but boring for me.

I suddenly heard sirens and a cop car rushed by a corner, chasing after some scrappy old car. I got up from the edge, took a few steps back, and then sprinted out over the edge of the building. On the way down I shot a splitter web at the car, so it stuck to each of the wheels, on the right side of the car. On the same time, I shot a web at the building on the opposite side of the street and pulled the side of the car with me, so it landed in its side. I had let go of the web, when the old car stopped sliding against the concrete. I almost smacked into the building I had pulled myself towards in a high speed, but my senses helped and made me land safely onto the wall. The police cars stepped on the brakes, so quickly and hard they glided on the road for maybe three seconds. I jumped down onto the car, I had turned sideway and pulled out the guy, who was sitting in the drivers seat. In the middle of pulling him out he smashed a flask of what smelled strongly of vodka and then lit a lighter.

"Oh no you don't," I said and shot a web, so the lighter flew out of his hand and stuck to the seat next to him. Son of a bitch tried to light me on fire. He was wearing one of those black 3 hole robber masks, and cursed at me a lot, as I pulled his arms behind his back and handed him to the police.

It was safe to say, that I was done for the night, so I quickly found my way to the new avengers facility. I pulled off my mask and my face got scanned so I was allowed into the building. Happy was at the big entrance probably waiting for me.

"Hey Happy. Where's the suit," I exhaustedly asked, when I noticed he didn't have it in hand.

"You're gonna have to go talk to Tony, cause I don't know where he put it," Happy responded and pointed to an elevator across the big room. I groaned irritatedly and started heading for the elevator.  "He's in a meeting right now, but you can wait here-"

"I'm getting it now, just tell me what floor," I said without turning and clicked on the elevator button. The doors opened immediately, as it was already on the floor I was on and I stepped in.

"Second floor, conference room B," Happy then defeatedly said.

"Thanks," I mumbled, while pushing the button that said II. Typical Tony to make it in Roman numerals, so people could feel a little stupid, if they didn't know them. I was quickly transported to the second floor and found 'conference room B'. I pulled off my mask and let my hood slip down as I opened the door. To my surprise I recognized almost everyone in the room where they had probably been discussing something, before I walked in and it became silent. Tony was sitting at the end of the table that was close to me. He turned in his chair and leaned back in it when he saw me.

"What a surprise. What are you doing here?" he asked not really sounding like he actually cared. I skimmed out at all the avengers, who had turned their heads and looked at me in silence, and one other guy I didn't recognize.

"I think we skipped a few chapters here," I stated confused, as I glanced out on the avengers I had fought half of, only two weeks earlier . "I thought-"

"Yeah well we all grew up and right before you interrupted, we were discussing wether we can be a team. Or not," Tony interrupted.

"Okay... well I just came to-"

"Okay let me stop you for a sec there. Why do you reek of vodka?" Tony said and put a hand up gesturing for me to take a step back. I was really tired at this point and starting to get annoyed.

"Guy tried to set me on fire okay," I took a deep breath in the quick sentence, showing that I just wanted to go home.

"How's that even possible, you're like freakishly strong," Barnes added cooly. He had lifted his metal arm on the table for a quick second, showing that he was curios.

"You remember huh?" I nodded proudly while smirking, with my tongue placed up on my cheek teeth. He looked away from me, not seeming amused at all.

"What is she talking about?" Natasha asked. Bucky didn't answer, but kept staring down at the table.

"She stopped his punch with her hand," Sam said and pointed at Bucky's metal arm.

"With the metal arm! You sure she doesn't belong on the team Tony?" Natasha suggested.

"Yes. She's fifteen," Tony answered like it was basic knowledge. I faintly put a finger up.

"I'm sixteen," I corrected, just as I had done the last time me and Tony had a conversation. "Look I just want to get the suit and go home," I said while looking at Tony.

"Right. I'll let Happy give you a ride, what's your address?" Tony asked while getting up from his chair and pulling out his phone. I was just about to say my home address, where my parents lived, when I remembered that I don't live there anymore. "Today please," Tony remarked and looked up from his phone.

"Peter's address," I said awkwardly, and Tony looked at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Peter's address, is your address?" he uttered. I opened my mouth, with no sound coming out at first.

"Well-... I kinda had to get out of my house," Tony hadn't blinked once.

"Why's that?" Steve asked, still sitting at the table. I tiredly rolled my eyes, while pulling out my phone, going into my camera roll to find a specific picture. I turned my phone and exposed the picture for a good five seconds, before clicking the button to turn it off.

"That's why," I turned back to Tony, who had also seen the picture. "Now can I get the suit?" I asked for the last time.

"Yeah sure," he answered and walked by me and out the door. I was just about to turn, when I got eye contact with the guy I didn't know.

"We haven't met," I said and crossed my arms. He was just about to say something, when Thor (who I hadn't really met either, but I knew who he was) interrupted.

"He's my brother. Don't worry, you won't like him anyway," he simply said. I took a second to remember, where I had heard about Thors brother before. Right!

"Didn't you try to kill everyone, with like a space... army?" I asked. He looked me in the eyes as he lifted his hands from his lap and put them on the table, showing that they were in big handcuffs. "Oh..." I said and nodded awkwardly. "Alright I'm gonna go," I said and pointed briefly to the door, before turning to it. My spider senses suddenly accelerated and I put up my hand to catch a pencil, right beside my face. I turned around to see Natasha smirking while nodding approvingly. I took a step up to the table and put the pencil back on it in silence. I turned around once again and walked out the door.

"Here," Tony reached out a suitcase to me and I grabbed it. "It's the exact same prototype as the one he ruined," he said and pointed briefly to the suitcase in my hand.

"It was an accident. He got shot," I said, now realizing he didn't know. "But I wouldn't expect you to care anyway," I turned around to head for the elevator.

"I do care you know," he then said, making me stop and turn around. "And I'm sorry about what happened with your... eye, but it's simply not my job, to babysit you two,"
