"Rue I'm so fucking sorry, I didn't know," My eyes were burning, but hers didn't seem to be even on the verge of crying tears. I sat up beside her and told her I was sorry just one more time. I had never been more sorry in my entire life, and all I wanted was to travel back time and stay with her throughout the whole night. I slid her hood down and put my hand on her cheek, to turn her head towards mine. Both her hands were for brief moment holding around mine, but she then removed my hand and looked away.
"I needed you Peter," she whispered and my heart sunk to the ground. I quickly got up and hunkered down in front of her again, desperately wanting for her to look me in the eyes. "I just need some time to think, okay?" she whispered
"Rue please... don't do this," I begged while she still looked down.
"Just get out," she whispered and finally stared me directly into my eyes. I didn't move at first, as I was trying to just find meaning behind those eyes I was so deeply in love with.
"Look, I only go so angry, because I love you so much, you know that," I tried even harder, but her expression didn't change at all.
"Get. Out." She firmly said. My lip was trembling and I was searching her face, only waiting for her to tell me that she loved me too and that I was forgiven. But she gave me nothing... I got up and walked out the door. She's never getting rid of me. I leaned my back up against the door and pressed my hands against my face. The image of her and Adam having sex on his bed was erased and replaced by an image of him above her and her struggling to get him off. Why did I have to get so furious at her, without even hearing her side of the story. The worst of it all, was that I had seen it and done nothing, just assuming that she was cheating on me. Peter you fucking idiot, you know she would never do that!
She iced me out completely, for a whole week, but she was forced to be around me, when we worked out. Sometimes I tried talking to her about it, but she would always just ignore me and keep on working out with music playing loudly in her ears. She was really pissed, and I got why... but I missed her and she had to let me in sooner or later, right? Cap had taken notice when she walked right past me after a meeting. He told me about how much she had hated Adam, even before he almost raped her, and that he was the one who had told her to go to that party, to give Adam another chance. I didn't tell him about what had happened. That was between her, Adam and me. Adam was considered dead to me, and yet he was alive enough for me to still hate his guts. I can't believe I trusted him and then he goes after my girlfriend, even after she had told him no... God I could just kill him.
"Okay gather around everyone," Tony announced in the gym, and we all stopped what we were doing and turned our attention to him. "Little Stevie here just told me that it's 'boring' down here. Therefore we'll do something different," he gestured up to the boxing ring. that was behind him.
"I'm in," Bucky announced and raised his hand.
"Yeah not like you had a choice anyway," Tony uttered as Bucky put on the boxing gloves. "Okay Vision. Wanda. No powers," he added and they glanced at each other and nodded. "All right who wants to fight Barnes?" Tony asked as Bucky entered the boxing ring. We all ended up looking at Steve, since he was the clear choice.
"Fine," he sighed and put the gloves on. "You ready to get your ass whooped?" he mockingly asked and Bucky chuckled. The fight went on for just about seven minutes, before Bucky had Steve in an unlucky armlock. After that, Natasha and Wanda fought, and it went on for so long they had to just call it a tie.
"Alright who's next?" Tony asked and suddenly got eye contact with me, and then someone else. "How abouuut... our own personal spiders!" Tony smiled and they all turned their heads to me and then over at Rue. She was wearing black biker shorts, a sports bra and a cap. Simple, but... hot. When we got eye contact, we both started letting out chuckling no's, but they started chanting the word 'Spiders', so lastly we had to just suck it up and pretend nothing was wrong. She took off the cap and we got into the ring.
"This is gonna be interesting," I heard Rhodey say, as I entered the boxing ring, Rue was already in. She looked less angry than I had expected. We weren't wearing the gloves, since they wanted us to just kinda fight each other instead.
"Aaand... Begin!" Tony said and she immediately started the fight, by aggressively swinging her legs up, trapping my neck between them, resulting in me flying back and landing harshly onto the ground. I flipped us around and locked her legs with mine, but she quickly found the solution and rolled us over in almost a cartwheel, so she was on top once again putting pressure on head by squeezing together with her knees.

"You had enough?" she chuckled, and for a moment I forgot I was almost out of air, as I hadn't seen her smile in such a long time. I snapped out of it and swung my legs up and trapped them in front of her chest and pushed her back down, so I was sitting up, still with her legs over my shoulders.
"You can't keep-... icing me out," I struggled out, as she tightened around my neck again. We broke free from each others grip and I coughed, trying to regain the air I had lost. She quickly got and suddenly throws herself down elbow first into my back and I whinced in pain.
"If you win this-" she roughly put her arm around my neck from above and pulled me up from the ground, only by her grip around my throat. "We'll talk," she hissed angrily in my ear.
"Deal," I hissed out and grabbed her arm, threw my upper body forward. She fell over it and landed right down on her back. I reached my hand down for her to grab and smiled, while she laid there panting. "Is that considered a win?" I asked and she looked up at me while still panting. She then swept my legs under me with her own, resulting in me landing right beside her also on my back now.
"Fine we'll talk..." she sighed defeatedly between breaths and turned her head to me. "But you didn't win," she added, as she got up and out of the boxing ring.
"Way to go, both of you!" Tony said and briefly patted Rue on the shoulder on her way out. "That was a touch end though, Parker," he gave me a sarcastically sympathetic smile, as I ducked under and out of the ring too.
"Hey I got her down first," I defended.
"Yeah but she was definitely in the lead throughout the whole fight," Natasha came from behind and ruffled up my hair, making me duck down a little and then look back. "And I take credit, cause you know... I trained her," I looked away from Natasha and over at the door that in that moment closed shut, meaning she was already out.

The weather here is finally improving and I can literally feel it making me happier!
