Katniss POV- (A few days later, back home)

"Katniss! Come see who's here to see you!" I hear Peeta call from downstairs.

I groggily get up from my spot on the bed and walk down the stairs to be greeted by Peeta, Bristol and Carter.

A smile immediately crosses my face as I see three of my favorite people.

"Hello, Mrs. Mellark. How are you?" Bristol formally addresses me.

I laugh a little, rolling my eyes and embracing her.

"I'm really good. How are you two doing?" I ask curiously.

I haven't seen these two in over a week and I've missed them dearly, Peeta has too.

We are so use to seeing them all the time now.

"We have been good. Just missing y'all." Bristol says in her accent.

Peeta and I turn to another and smile and then back to Bristol, "Did you two have fun on your honeymoon?"

Peeta and I take another glance and I see his face redden and mine joins his, "Yeah, we did. It was a lot of fun." I say awkwardly.

What am I suppose to say?

'Yeah, it was perfect. We are no longer virgins and we swam naked in a lake.'

Bristol smiles and nods, "That's good. Did you stay here the whole time or did y'all take off?"

"We went to the Capitol and spent a few days there."

"Wow. I bet that was great. The Capitol is a beautiful place to visit. What all did y'all get to do?" She gushes.

"Uh, we did lots of stuff..." Peeta says awkwardly.

I can't help but to laugh, "We did. We saw and did a lot of things." I say, giving Peeta a wink.

"I'm glad that you both had fun. You deserved it." Bristol says suspiciously.

"Peeta, let me see that baby." I say, prying a month and a half old Carter from Peeta's arms.

"Hi, baby." I say, making funny faces at her, she smiles a little.

I kiss her tiny forehead and pass her back to Peeta who awaits anxiously for his buddy to be back in his arms.

"Bristol, how about you and I get away for a little bit? Let Peeta and Carter have some fun?" I suggest, knowing some time apart will do us good, though it's been perfect.

"Sure, Katniss. Wanna go grab something to drink?" Bristol asks.

"Yeah, that'll be great. Peeta, do you want anything?"

Peeta looks up and shakes his head, "No, you two go do whatever. I'll watch Carter." He says in a baby voice.

I laugh and walk over to where they sit on the couch. I lean down, kissing both Peeta and Carter on the forehead.

"We will be back. Don't get into too much trouble with your Uncle Peeta, okay?" I say to Carter. "I'll be back soon. I love you." I tell Peeta and peck his lips.

"I love you too." He smiles, content.

Bristol and I leave and head to a coffee shop downtown.

"So, how was everything really?" Bristol asks me suspiciously.

"Perfect." I say truthfully.

"Then why did you wanna leave?" She asks, confused.

I chuckle, "Because I know how much Peeta has missed Carter lately."
