Katniss POV- (The next morning)

"Peeta!" I screech, running towards him as he enters the hospital.

He smiles widely and hugs me, spinning me around.

"How are they?" He asks me.

I smile, "Tired but so happy."

"What's the baby's name? You still haven't told me." Peeta asks me excitedly.

I snort, "It's a surprise. You can't know until you meet her." I say, laughing.

Peeta groans playfully, "Alright, let's go!" He says as I link arms with him.

We go up the elevator and are soon to Bristol's hospital room.

Peeta smiles widely and I feel him begin to shake.

"What's up?" I laugh stoping him in the hall.

He turns to me, "I'm just really happy for Bristol and to meet the baby." He says, eyes bright.

My heart melts and he hasn't even seen her yet.

I know he will fall in love.

"I know, you'll love her. She is so perfect." I say truthfully.

She's only about 9 hours old but she already has my heart and it takes a lot to make me fall in love.

Peeta smiles admiringly at me, "Let's go meet her." He says, softly smiling.

So we do.

I carefully and quietly open the big wooden door to Bristol's hospital room where I find her asleep and the baby in the cradle next to her bedside.

I drag a super excited but nervous Peeta towards the bed where the baby lies there, wide awake.

Her brown eyes are wide open and her tiny lips pursed.

I can't help but to grin as I lay eyes on her and I turn to Peeta who looks like he's just one the lottery.

That's when I know for sure, no doubt about it, that I want to give him children one day.

If he is this excited about someone else's child being born, imagine his own.

Knowing Bristol won't mind, I carefully pick up the little bundle and hold her carefully in my arms looking down into her eyes.

It reminds me of when Prim was born.

I was pretty little but I remember my dad handing her over to me.

I can't help but to imagine Peeta doing so to our son or daughter one day, showing them the new life their parents made.

Peeta stands face to face with me and looks down at the newborn baby.

I look over and into his eyes.

I see them sparkling with disbelief and happiness.

"She is so beautiful." He says, aghast.

I carefully hold the tiny baby out towards him and he shakes his head.

"What, you don't want to hold her?" I ask him,  confused.

Peeta nods, "I do but I don't want to hurt her." He says nervously.

"Peeta, you're not going to hurt her. Trust me, I was just as terrified as you last night. They handed her straight to me after she came out." I tell him.

"Then, I had to show her to Bristol who was so exhausted by then. So after they did all the tests on her to make sure she was alright, I sat in here, holding her all night." I admit.
