Katniss POV-

"Katniss, what are you actually planning on making for dinner?" Peeta asks after we get to the store.

I shrug, "I don't know, I just wanted an excuse to leave. I needed to get out of the house. I'll still make you dinner though."

Peeta cracks a smile, "You should've just told me you needed to get out of the house."

"No, because then you wouldn't have come with me. Sometimes, I wanna be alone with you." I tell him.

"We are alone all the time."

I smile a little, "I know but I want to be alone with you just out of the house, I guess." I shrug, somewhat confused myself.

"Okay, that is fine." Peeta smiles a little.

I shrug and look out the window, watching moms and their kids going into the grocery store or little old women.

"You aren't mad, are you?" I ask him after a second, turning to face him.

"About what?"

"Because I was talking about the whole agreement thing with Bristol." I say.

He sighs, "I'm not mad at you for it."

I roll my eyes, not believing him.

"Then why are you being like that?" I ask.

"I'm not trying to be like anything, Katniss. I'm sorry, I guess I'm just in a bad mood." Peeta says.

His eyes are tired.

I know we stayed up quite late last night.

I think we finally went to bed at four-ish.

I was up by 7 and Peeta was awake not soon after.

It's like only 8:30 now.

"Well, you best get out of your bad mood." I shoot.

"If you will give me a kiss, that may help me."

I roll my eyes and cup his cheeks and kiss him full on the mouth.

I break away a second later and he pecks my nose, "I'll try to be in a better mood now." He murmurs.

I scoff, "Good." I say, pulling away from him.

"What all do we need in here?"

I shrug, "I don't know. What do you want me to make you?"

"How about you make me absolutely nothing and let me make you something?" Peeta tries.

I laugh, "Nice try." I say, getting out of the car.

He soon gets out and we go into the market together.

"We need milk, eggs, flour and sugar." Peeta says, getting a shopping cart for us.

"Okay, we can stock up, I guess. We haven't been here in awhile." I say and he agrees.

We get a little bit of everything.

Cheese, fruits, vegetables, meat and the basic necessities.

I buy a lot of junk food for once, it sounded good and Peeta didn't rebel.

I have a good time shopping with Peeta for the most part.

We spend about an hour total but it was just fun getting to spend a little time with him doing something we normally don't do together.

We go home and Peeta insists on lugging all the groceries in by himself but I don't argue.

If I've noticed anything about him, it's that he has somewhat of an ego for being a strong, tough guy for me.
