Katniss POV- (About 2pm)

"Katniss?" Peeta says softly.

I open my heavy eyes, "Yeah?" I ask sitting up, a little confused then I remember.

"I feel a little bit better since I've slept and took that medicine." He tells me.

I let out a held breath, "Oh, good. You scared me." I say, pressing my forehead to his chest.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were awake."

I look over at the clock, "It's okay. We slept like three hours."

"That's good. Maybe it's because we only got like 3 hours of sleep last night?" He chuckles.

I shrug, "That and you're sick."

He shakes his head, "I really think it's just allergies. I promise. My eyes keep watering involuntarily and I'm really stuffy. My head doesn't hurt as bad now though."

"Okay, you just take it easy. I don't want you doing much." I inform him.

"I won't." He lies.

I refrain from rolling my eyes, "Are you hungry?"

He nods, "Kind of."

"What do you want me to make you?" I ask him softly.

"I don't care. Whatever you want is fine with me." He says with a smile, his eyes get watery.

I put my hand on his cheek, "My poor baby." I say, pouting my lip, genuinely feeling sorry for him.

"Don't be like that. Treat me like normal. I'm fine, Katniss." Peeta says, shaking his head.

I scoff, "No, you treat me like this all the time so now you need me to treat you like that." I insist.

He groans.

"Don't be grumpy, Peeta." I scowl.

This makes him smile.

"Okay."

"So, later Bristol is going to call and let us talk to Carter." I tell him.

He smiles, "Really?"

I nod, "Yeah, she said everytime she mentions our names or anything, Carter starts looking around." I laugh.

"That's very sweet. I really miss her." Peeta frowns.

I frown too, "So do I."

After a really long silence, he is the first to speak.

"So, you haven't felt any different lately, have you?" Peeta asks nervously.

I shrug, "No, why?"

"I don't know, just wondering."

"Why?" I push.

He sighs, "Never mind."

"Peeta, tell me. Now."

"I am just making sure you don't think you're pregnant after what happened a few weeks ago."

I scoff, "I don't think I am. Why?"

"Because I tried to do everything in my power not to get you pregnant. I know you're not ready."

I roll my eyes at him.

"Peeta, stop. If it happens, it happens." I say, a little confused and mad.

I know what I told him so if I get pregnant, it's my fault.

"I thought you didn't want a baby?" Peeta asks, sitting up.

I take a deep breath, "I don't."

He looks immediately hurt, "Okay, well I didn't think so."
