Katniss POV-

"Katniss, I'm going to the store. What kind of juice do you want?"

I shrug, "Apple." I tell him.

He frowns, "The doctor said stuff like grape or cranberry to make you feel better."

I let out a groan, "I don't care. All three?"

"Sure. Anything to eat? What kind of yogurt do you want?" Peeta asks.

"Whatever you think I will like." I tell him, not really in a certain flavor kind of mood.

He laughs, "Bristol, you remember she said she didn't care when I come back and she doesn't like what I bought."

Bristol chuckles, "I will."

I roll my eyes and sigh, "Go away, Mellark."

Peeta walks over, bending down and kissing my cheek, "I will, Mellark."

I can't help but smile a real smile.

"Peeta, if you would like, you can take Carter." Bristol suggests as she noticed what I did. Peeta eyeing Carter and Carter staring at Peeta back.

"Okay, cool. Yeah that will be good. Let you two get some time to yourselves." Peeta smiles happily.

I laugh and hand him the wobbly baby.

Peeta takes her with his gentle arms and carefully places her back into her carrier, buckling her up tight.

"Be careful." I say as Peeta whisks out the door baby in hand.

He gives me a cheesy smile as he shuts the door and leaves Bristol and I alone.

I chuckle, "You know you just made those two's lives by doing that."

Bristol giggles, "I thought I might. Peeta looked like he needed to have some baby-best friend time."

I scoff, "Tell me about it."

"You didn't have to stay in the hospital long, Kat." Bristol states.

I shake my head, "No, not really. They were telling me I would probably be there for a few days but I got out earlier today. I am glad though. I feel tons better."

Bristol smiles sweetly, "Good. You should've called me so I could've gone up to see you or visited you while Peeta came home or whatever."

"Peeta didn't even want to leave this morning to come change his clothes and get my phone and my necklace."

My necklace.

I frantically feel around my neck and all over the place almost in tears.

Then I realize it's still Peeta's jacket pocket, slung over the back of the couch.

He never took it out.

"What is that?" Bristol asks as she looks at me, a mad looking woman hugging a little necklace to her heart.

"A necklace Peeta gave me. I think it was for our first dating anniversary."

"Oh, can I see?"

I nod and hold the little chain out in front of us, "Look, the front is a green diamond for me and the one closest to my heart is orange for Peeta."

Bristol grins, "That is adorable, Kat."

I chuckle, "Yeah. I don't ever wear it and I wanted him to bring it to me this morning. I don't know why I wanted it. He never gave it to me after he came back."
